She found a man in the passenger seat and a woman in the driver’s seat. Upton rescued the man, but the woman was stuck and could not come out.

Further, in Chicago PD Season 9 Episode 13, Upton swamped back up and went back for the woman. Till then, the car had completely submerged, and she could not find it. Upton thought of the woman she left behind in the ambulance. Scott treated the man at the hospital and found a gun on him. Upton took the weapon, and Scott suggested she get a check-up. Upton was hypothermic, but she managed to get out of the water quickly. Trudy came to the hospital and informed Upton that the woman’s body had been extracted.

Upton then talked to the woman’s husband, Frank, who came to the hospital with two kids. He revealed that her name was Lisa, and she went off to crop cash at the bank. Frank was shocked to know that a man was driving the car as she was supposed to be alone. Upton rushed to the station and found that the gun was unregistered. The team found footage that revealed that Lisa was attacked, harassed, and kidnapped by the attacker. Sadly, Upton saved a criminal, and innocent Lisa had to lose her life.

Upton Gives Her All To Find The Perpetrator

Unfortunately, the man ran from the hospital when Upton and Halstead showed up. Upton was frustrated and wanted to go after the criminal. But, Voight ordered her to take a breather. Some more footage revealed that the culprit had been staling Lisa for 6 months. He watched her for hours during the night of the incident before attacking her. The team showed Frank the picture of the criminal but he did not recognize him. Luckily, Lisa’s daughter had seen the man lurking around the school and waving at her.

Meanwhile, Upton found a bracelet at Frank’s home. They discovered that the perpetrator broke into their house and took trophies. Upton tracked the man named Blake Mullen down using the footage of his car from school. The team broke into his house with a warrant and found all kinds of trophies from over a dozen victims. They also found some fake IDs suggesting that Blake might have fled. Trudy talked to Upton about saving her father from getting robbed while Upton looked carefully at the evidence. She found out that Blake had been picking up his victims around the gym.

The team set a trap for Blake near the gym. Luckily, Blake showed up and spotted the police. Upton chased her as the two ended up wrestling for a gun. When Blake was about to shoot Upton, she shouted that she saved his life. The pause helped Upton to kick Blake in the pool. Eventually, she saved him from drowning as he was apprehended. The team celebrated Upton’s ten-year anniversary party in Chicago PD Season 9 Episode 13.

Halstead was stunned to know that Hammer was making another effort with her estranged husband after seeing a wedding ring. He treated a patient named Mrs. Hendricks, suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. Her stepdaughter Cindy was a nurse and asked for fast treatment. Halstead discussed the abnormalities of her diagnosis with Charles. Cindy was not fond of Charles talking to Mrs. Hendricks when she found out about his specialization. Charles found out that the doctor who diagnosed Mrs. Hendricks with the disease had died five years ago. It turned out Cindy convinced Mrs. Hendricks that she was losing her mind after Cindy was left out of her father’s will. Being a nurse, Cindy easily managed to forge the results and the police took her away.

Eventually, Halstead told Hammer that he understood her decision to be back with her husband. Scott apologized to Carmen for cheating on her in the past. Charles found out that Loni had feelings for him when he asked her why she stopped seeing Charles. Marcel saw Blake after Archer asked her on a date. Marcel asked if she would go out with him and the two kissed. Blake’s daughter saw the who incident and revealed that Marcel had gone out drinking with her before in Chicago Med Season 7 Episode 13.

Is ‘Claws’ Based On A True Story?

As per the reports, ‘Claws’ is based on a genuine story in part. In essence, the female empowerment-themed series’ characters are based on real-life experiences. In a March 2017 interview, creator Eliot Laurence acknowledged that the series’ primary character Desna Simms is inspired by his own aunt Victoria Hall, also known as Aunt Vicky. Laurence’s aunt, who died before the series was conceived, had a significant impact on his life. In fact, he ascribed his ability to laugh at himself to his aunt. If his aunt, who liked having her nails painted, had been alive, he imagined she would have adored the series.

The setting of Florida reminds Laurence of Dave Barry and Carl Hiaasen’s famed ‘Florida noir novels.’ And, because he was a fan of crime fiction, he began to incorporate the element of humor into a storyline that characterized the genre. On the other hand, the storyline is made up, as the premise of nail technicians’ life being disrupted by illegal money laundering is made up. Laurence based the show’s plot in Palmetto, Florida. The city is said to have a high crime rate, which has also been discussed on the show. Polly appears to be a pleasant person in the series, but she too is sentenced to prison.

Semantic Error Ep 5 Preview: What Will Happen?

After Sang-woo’s encounter with the drunk mentor at the bar, Jae-Young and he might eventually become friends in Semantic Error Ep 5. Sang might even let Jae-Young in on his project. Moreover, Ji-Hye will come closer to Sang-woo as their small encounters and chats continue. Meanwhile, Yu-Na’s advice has left Jae-Young thinking about things before actually doing them. Thus, viewers can expect Yu-Na to talk some more sense in Jae.

A Quick Recap!

The previous episode began with Sang-woo on his way to college. He reached at 6:30 in the morning to secure his favorite seat by the window in class. Jae Young came in as the class began filling in and sat next to Sang-woo. However, Sang-woo already knew it would happen, and he came prepared. He put a partition between and got back to focusing in the class. But, Jae-young continued to distract him and kept messing with Sang-woo. At lunchtime, Sang-woo was frustrated as he decided to sit at a table full of strangers instead of eating alone. Jae-Young was amazed by the extent Sang-woo was willing to go in order to avoid him.

Elsewhere, in Semantic Error Ep 4, Jae-Young claimed Sang-woo’s project as his own. Sang-woo noticed it and continued to work as Ji-Hye. She told Sand-woo that they would see each other quite often from now. However, he had no idea what Ji-Hye was talking about. Moreover, Jae-Young sat with Yu-Na and talked about how Sang-woo changed his strict schedule just to avoid him. 

Yu-Na got annoyed and asked Jae-Young what he was trying to achieve. She advised Jae-Young to think about it and find some sense. Jae-Young walked around the campus thinking things as he saw Sang-woo sitting with Ji-Hye. She asked Sang-woo if she could call him by his nickname Sangchoo. Sang-woo agreed to her request as Jae stood there witnessing everything.

Further, Sang-woo finally decided to stand up to Jae-Young. He told Jae that the project meant a lot to him and asked him not to mess with his project. Jae and his friends were at the bar when they noticed the cammer mentor entering with Sang-woo and others. Sang-woo tried to escape, but the mentor was drunk. And he did not let Sang-woo go. Jae-Young stepped in and pushed the mentor away. He ran away with Sang-woo. Eventually, Sang-woo invited Jae into his house for a while in Semantic Error Ep 5.
