A comedy-drama about a middle-aged Korean man running a family convenience store in Toronto, Canada, has been one of the fan-favorite shows. After five wonderful seasons, fans have been waiting for Kim’s Convenience Season 6. But when is it coming? Well, here’s what we know about it.

CBC’s Kim Convenience is a Canadian family sitcom drama series that debuted on the network in October 2016. The series revolves around the Kim family who moves to Canada from South Korea in pursuit of a better life. They run a family convenience store named Kim’s Convenience. The series developed by Ins Choi and Kevin White is heavily inspired by Choi’s own experiences. 

Kim’s Convenience Season 6: Spinoff In Making!

The fifth season of Kim’s Convenience dropped on Netflix on June 2, 2021. However, the season premiered on CBC on January 19, 2021. And as far as the sixth season is concerned, we have some really bad news for the fans. It is reported that the network has canceled the series ahead of Kim’s Convenience Season 6. The decision was surprising as CBC previously confirmed the fifth and sixth seasons together in March 2020. 

The sudden cancelation of Kim’s Convenience Season 6 has caused outrage among the fans. Even actor Simu Liu has expressed his anger towards the cancelation. In an interview, Mr. Kim star Paul Sun-Hyung Lee stated that he tried to convince creator Ins Choi to return. But Ins “ghosted him” instead, which deeply hurt the actor. 

However, we also have some good news for fans who are left heartbroken after the cancelation of Kim’s Convenience Season 6. According to reports, the CBC network has already started working on Kim’s Convenience spinoff series titled “Strays.” The new show will be based in Hamilton and focus on Nicole Power’s Shannon. Sho broke up with Jung in the last episode of the fifth season. As per reports, Strays has started filming for the first season, and it will premiere on CBC around late 2022.

Kim’s Convenience Season 6: What Could’ve Happened?

The fifth season of Kim’s Convenience ended with a low-key note. Kimchee and Shannon had dinner with Kim and company at their place. After dinner, the Kims say goodnight to their guests. Later on, Mr. and Mrs. Kim put the CLOSED sign on their shop and go to bed after turning off the lights. In the end, it seemed that the showrunners tried to include a sense of conclusion in the season. Yet, it feels like the ending was rushed, and there is still a lot to tell in the story.

What Did Simu Liu Say About Kim’s Convenience Season 6?

Canadian actor Simu Liu, who plays Jung Kim in the series is not happy with the cancelation of the series. And he has voiced his discontent multiple times. After the news broke, Liu first talked about the cancelation of Kim’s Convenience in March 2021. He posted his remarks on Twitter. Simu stated that he was heartbroken as he was expecting the series to come back for a sixth season. He wanted the show to wrap up Jung’s story arc appropriately. He also expressed his wish to join the writing team for the show. 

Simu Liu felt that Jung and Appa’s relationship was one of the biggest unresolved storylines in the series, as they both have had long journeys of healing. Jung left his family home after he got captured by police and sent to the juvenile detention center. He did not set foot at Kim’s Convenience or even talk to his father for several years. However, he secretly preserved a relationship with Umma and Janet. Towards the end of the fifth season, Jung and Appa developed an indecisive connection, and it’s even implied that Jung may take over the store after Mr. and Mrs. Kim’s retirement.

Furthermore, in April 2021, when the show aired the fifth season finale, Liu took to Twitter to voice his opinions about the series. He tweeted, “On the eve of what is now to be the series finale of Kim’s Convenience, I hoped I’d be at a point where I could speak about it with a clear head. But the truth is I’m still pretty f**king angry. Hours of therapy are sure to follow. You all deserved a proper ending.” After the show, the actor went on to play the first Asian superhero, Shang Chi, in Marvel Cinematic Superhero.

The Show Set In A Real Store!

Kim’s Convenience is shot on an interior set in Toronto. However, the outdoor scenes are shot on Queen Street East inside a real convenience store called Mimi Variety. The owner requested that the Kim’s Convenience signs should be left up permanently, and the store’s name be altered after being featured on the show. Because ‘Mimi’ was not a real person, there were no sentimental attachments to the name.

Hilda Season 3: What’s Next For Hilda?

While they tried to survive the danger of the forest, Frida and David were trying to find them. Ultimately, the Raven came to save them and took Hilda, Twig, and Johanna to their home.

Hilda’s mother fled from the forest filled with trolls. The episode ended with Johanna taking breakfast with Hilda. She was surprised to see that a troll child called Baba was waking up in Hilda’s bed, and he had taken her place. Meanwhile, Hilda was left behind in the troll forest, and she was trapped in the body of a troll. 

Sadly, not much content about Hilda Season 3 has been revealed by the streaming platform. There is a chance that the third season might take the events of the 2021 film into account, but it is not confirmed yet. Over the course of nine seasons, Mike and Harvey faced threats from a lot of firms and Jessica’s former partners, who wanted to take her firm down. Will The Show Return For Suits Season 10?

Fans and critics were shocked when the show continued for two more seasons after the exit of its three most crucial characters from the show. Shiela then gave birth to their baby soon after the wedding ceremony. Mike came to attend the ceremony as Harvey decided to go to Seattle with him and work on class-actions suits to help people out. So, Harvey and Donna moved to Seattle after handing over the firm to Lois in Suits Season 9.

Gabriel played the lead character of Suits, Harvey Reginald Specter, for nine seasons from 2011-19. He then decided to take a break from acting for the lost time with his family. Patrick J. Adams

Patrick Adams depicted the smart and talented Mike Ross on the show for seven long seasons and a few recurring roles for the next two seasons. Violet and Evan shared a kiss at the gala while Severide waited for Stella outside the gala. He went down on his knee and proposed to Stella with an engagement. Meanwhile, in Chicago PD Season 9 Episode 12, Adam and Kim continued to look for Blanca and found her shot dead in a car. The officers traced the bullet to one of Los Temidos’s killings last year. They figured that the same gun was used to kill Blanca. The team was looking for the gun while keeping an eye on the key players of the gang. Adam and Kim followed one of the gang’s killers named Paco, close to the gang’s leader. He was spotted taking a huge cash payment from the bakery owner. Voight and the team figured that Escano was the gang leader they were after.

Voight sent Anna to retrieve the gun from Paco’s house during the party. However, she froze after seeing someone, and Voight rushed in with the team to save her. She continued her mission and managed to get hold of the gun. However, Paco caught her snooping around and was about to kill her.

Suddenly, Voight and the team rushed in and arrested Paco. However, he refused to give up Escano and threatened Voight that Anna’s life was in danger. But, Halstead used Paco’s child and his ex-girlfriend, forcing Paco to confess. But, Escano did not keep anyone close enough to get him arrested. Anna went undercover and began working at the bakery. In the second season of The Umbrella Academy, we saw Hargreeves siblings, going back in time to the 70s. They met their adoptive father, Reginald Hargreeves, and told him about future events in the past. We know that in the future, Reginald adopts the special kids born on the same day to create The Umbrella Academy.

The theory states that Reginald did what he did because he had already met Hargreeve’s siblings back in the 70s. The theory creates a classic case of the Bootstrap Paradox, in which the origin of the Umbrella Academy is lost in a loop of time.

Infinite universes

There is a possibility that The Umbrella Academy is actually a story of the multiverse, and there is an infinite number of parallel realities. We know that the Commission’s infinite switchboard, which implies that there are infinite parallel universes, not just linear. They believe that the Umbrella Academy did not truly avert the apocalypse. But rather than establishing a new timeline, is it possible that in the future, we’ll observe the universe? Harlan Is A Member Of Sparrow Academy?

At the end of The Umbrella Academy Season 2, we saw Harlan having special powers as he was floating a wooden toy that looked strangely like a sparrow in the air towards the end of Season 2. After seeing that image, several Reddit users have speculated that Harlan will join the Sparrow Academy. Harlan would be over 60 years old by the time the Umbrella Academy came in 2019. Thus he’s unlikely to be one of the silhouettes we see. Maybe he co-founded the Sparrow Academy with Reginald Hargreeves or joined the first class.

Harlan’s Powers Are Linked To Vanya?

In the second season, when Harlan heard that Vanya is about to leave, he ran away from his house. Vanya discovered him in a lake and used her abilities to save him from drowning, unwittingly passing on their part to him. The series demonstrated orbs similar to those seen in Reginald’s jar in the first season.

Harlan’s newly acquired abilities began to spiral out of control, making him a potential apocalypse trigger. Fortunately, the Hargreeves arrived at his destination. Vanya was able to calm him down and take away his powers, though not all of them. This is because we see Harlan using telekinetic abilities to move a wooden bird in the air without touching it.

Harlan exhibited the same abilities as Vanya, also becoming white like her. Even though Vanya took part of them away, what’s left in him can still evolve and reach the same, if not greater, levels than Vanya’s powers. When Vanya loses control of her skills, she may be extremely dangerous. And, because it’s unclear whether Harlan will ever receive the necessary training to control his, he could be even more dangerous than Vanya in The Umbrella Academy Season 3.

Is Lila In The Sparrow Academy?

At the end of the second season, After her fight with the members of The Umbrella Academy, Lila finds out the truth about the Handler. Then, Lila takes up a time-traveling briefcase and disappears somewhere in time. We don’t know where did she go. There is a chance that she may travel to the time when Handler killed her parents and try to save them. But since the original timeline has been altered to a massive extent, there is also a chance that she may be a member of Reginald’s new team called Sparrow Academy in this new timeline.
