On December 3, 2021, HBO Max shared the final trailer before the release of the series in January 2022. The show is written and directed by James Gunn. The three-minute-long clip starts with Sophie Song talking about Peacemaker. She says, “He is a trained killer, We’ve got trouble with that maniac”. In the next few shots, few see the titular character running from Sophie and his partner, who are behind him.

However, the Peacemaker is not alone. A hawk is with him (we don’t know why! Nobody does). Then we see Cena’s character with his father. Further in the trailer, there is a vigilante alongside the protagonist, to whom Peacemaker reveals that he is working for the Government. Revealing the nature of his job, he further says to his friend, “I kill People for them”. Fans can also see what appears to be an unofficial task force with Vigilante and Peacemaker in it. 

The trailer gives out glimpses of the journey of introspection that the titular character will undergo in the series. Opposed to his nature, he is struggling to eliminate a target who was with a kid. The trailer further gives provides some outlook of the upcoming season without spoiling it too much. Based on the trailer, it seems safe to say that Peacemaker has the potential to be one of the best superhero series in 2022.

More DC Spinoffs In The Future?

James Gunn, who gained recognition for Guardians of Galaxy, joined the club of DC filmmakers for 2021’s Suicide Squad. After the movie release, the announcement came that Gunn is working on another DC project, a spinoff for Peacemaker from Suicide Squad. Gunn’s news venture, The Peacemaker is set to premiere on HBO Max on January 13, 2022.

Ahead of the film’s release, James Gunn has hinted that the future may hold more Suicide Squad spinoffs for the fans. The speculations began when a fan asked Gunn about the possibility of more spinoff shows based on DC characters. James’ ambiguous reply indicates that can be the case. In the reply, he shared a funny GIF of a raccoon laughing and captioned “he, he, he, he, he, he, he.” This reply was enough to fuel rumors among fans as they have already started guessing who will be the next character to get a spin-off. But what are your views on this. Hyun ran into Prince Wonsan, who was visiting Queen Dowager. He was suspicious about Wonsan’s motives. Meanwhile, Chang-woon’s safe house was tracked by Seok-jo. He ended up killing Chang-woon to protect his son. Further, the court lady spread the rumors about the King preferring men over women. She broke the news to Queen Dowager and the Royal instructor. Soon the rumor spread to Ha-kyung, who was disheartened to hear it. 

Moreover, in The King’s Affection Ep 18, Queen Dowager asked Lee-hwi and Ha-kyung to give the empire a Royal heir to suppress the rumors. After the archery game, she arranged tea for both. Ha-kyung confronted Lee-hwi that she didn’t care about what Lee-hwi preferred. All she wanted her to do was fulfill her duties as the King alongside Ha-kyung. Lee-hwi was quite affected by Ha-kyung words as she realized that her burning desire for revenge had kept her away from the King’s responsibilities.

Ji-woon Is Getting Married To So-eun

Seok-jo couldn’t find any other way to save his son from rumors. So, he asked So-eun father to get her married to Ji-woon. Unfortunately, her father was reluctant about getting involved with Seok-jo’s family due to his association with Lord Sangheon. However, So-eun felt it to be her only opportunity to be with Ji-woon and start a new life away from the palace. So, she convinced her father about the marriage. Ji-woon protests at first, but Seok-jo makes him understand.

The next day, Lee-hwi heard the news from Ha-kyung. She could see a change in Lee-hwi’s emotions. After that, Ji-woon came to Lee-hwi to tell the news herself. He told her that it was the only way to save her secret. Lee-hwi tried to stop him but he apologized and left her alone in The King’s Affection Ep 17.

In the leaked images, viewers can see Asha in a red jumpsuit and mask (no, we’re not talking about Money Heist gang members). Asha has been dubbed as “The Last person on Earth” in the Snowpiercer Season 2. She’s an apocalypse survivor who has managed to stay alive in the frozen wasteland. According to executive producer Becky Clements, Archie’s character will make Season 3 super-exciting. 

Apart from Archie, the series features an excellent cast, including Sean Bean, Jennifer Connelly, Daveed Diggs, Mickey Sumner, Alison Wright, and Rowan Blanchard. In addition, Roberto Urbina, Annalise Basso, and Iddo Goldberg are also among the cast. 

Snowpiercer Season 3: What Will Happen Next?

In the second season, Melanie went missing. But Layton And Alex protected her data. When they were looking for her at the research station. Meanwhile, the data shows that several parts of the Earth have started to defrost, which means new hope for human civilization. The end of that surprised Layton, in which Melanie said she was going in the frozen land. So, that humanity’s existence on Earth has a chance.

Now, in Snowpierecer Season 3, Layton and his team will try to find Melanie. The data found saved by Layton will likely be at the center of the next season. In addition, Layton and the others will search for a warm point to reestablish civilization. With new opportunities opening for Layton and his companions, Wilford and Layton’s conflict will grow. Executive producer Becky Clements also discussed the third season in an interview. She said that climate change would play a vital role in Snowpierecer Season 3.

The season finale of the Apple TV SciFi drama series Foundation aired on November 19, 2021. And there is some good news for the show’s fans who are waiting for the second season of Foundation. In just two weeks after the finale, Apple TV has renewed the show for Foundation Season 2.

AppleTV+’s Foundation is a Sci-Fi drama series created by David S. Goyer and Josh Friedman. The show is based on the eponymous novel series by Isaac Asimov. It revolves around a mathematician named Hari Seldon. Hari develops a theory that allows him to predict the events of the future. However, the theory creates a lot of chaos for many people. The Sci-fi drama series has an elaborate storyline spanning over several hundred years.

In the first season of Foundation’s complex narrative, fans learned about a vast galactic empire slowly dwelling into chaos. The series is epic in many ways, its premise, and storyline. Foundation has been massively praised by the audience for its intriguing narrative. On the other hand, it also impressed the critics. Though the first season answered some of the fans’ questions, many are still to be answered in Foundation Season 2.

Foundation Season 2: Production Status & Release Date

The production of the debut season of Foundation taking place in Ireland was halted by the pandemic in 2020. And the first season of the series started airing on September 24 and finished on November 19, 2021. All the ten episodes of the season were about an hour long. 

Now, talking about Foundation Season 2, AppleTV+ announced the renewal of the series for the second season on October 7, 221. Apple TV’s head of programming Matt Cherniss stated, “We know how long fans of these beloved Asimov stories have waited to see his iconic work brought to life as a visually spectacular event series and now we can’t wait to showcase even more of the richly layered world, compelling storytelling and stunning world-building that David S. Goyer has created in season two.”

However, the production details for Foundation Season 2 are not known as of now. But, according to some reports, the season is in the pre-production stage. And the filming of the second season will begin in early 2022. Keeping this in mind if there is no extra delay because of Covid, then fans can expect Foundation Season 2 to release around late 2022. 

What Will The Upcoming Season Be About?

In the first season, Anacreons and Thespians called off their long-lasting war. They both joined forces with the members of the Foundation to bring the Galactic Empire on its knees. Meanwhile, viewers learned that the rebels had modified the DNA of the original Cleon, bringing an end to the Trantor dynasty’s regime of thousands of years. In the finale, Salvor discovered that she is Gaal’s child, and united with her on Synnax one hundred and thirty-eight years in the future.

In Foundation Season 2, Seldon’s psychohistory theory will likely be explored in the midst of Galactic turmoil. Although it is not certain as to how things will turn out in the next season. However, based on the books fans can assume that Hari Seldon will likely call the shots in the second season. Meanwhile, they will also see more of Gaal and Salvor, now that they are together.
