After witnessing the cliffhanger ending of the previous season of Chesapeake Shores, fans are eagerly waiting for Chesapeake Shores Season 6 to return to their screens. The Canadian-American family drama series Chesapeake Shores debuted on Hallmark in 2016 and became a fan favorite.

The series created by Dan Paulson is based on the novel series of the same name from writer Sherryl Woods. It is set in the Eponymous town of Chesapeake Shores and revolves around a young woman named Abby O’Brian. Abby returns to her hometown Chesapeake Shores in order to assist her sister Jess in running a dying Inn. However, a lot of drama unfolds as Abby faces her past.

Is Chesapeake Shores Season 6 On The Cards?

The fifth season of Chesapeake Shores ended on October 17, leaving the fans excited for the sixth season. Since then, they have been wondering whether the show has been renewed or not. The fifth season got renewal in February 2021, more than a year after the fourth season premiered in August 2019.

But the good news for the fans came in the form of rumors of the show returning for a sixth run. According to a report published in SpoilerTV, on November 4, Chesapeake Shores Season 6 is on the cards. Not just that, the report claims that the show’s production would begin in April 2022. 

However, Meghan Ory, who plays Abby in the series, shot down these rumors. Meghan wrote in her Instagram story, “Sorry @spoilertvphotos but if this is true @hallmarkchannel has not shared with me!!” Story. “I like your positivity though,” she added. 

So, unfortunately, there is no official confirmation from the showrunners or the network about the series’ renewal for Chesapeake Shores Season 6. However, given the show’s popularity, it seems very likely that Hallmark will greenlight the next season sooner than expected. 

Chesapeake Shores Season 6: Who Will Return?

Chesapeake Shores features a brilliant cast, most of whom are likely to return for Chesapeake Shores Season 6 if the network announces it. Meghan Ory as Abby O’Brien will reprise her role for the sixth season. In addition, Emilie Ullerup, Barbara Niven, Laci J. Mailey, Brendan Penny, Daine Ladd, Andrew Francis, and Treat William will also likely return to play their parts. Furthermore, Robert Buckley will reprise his role as Evan Kincaid, Abby’s new love interest in season 6. 

Why Did Jesse Metcalfe Leave Chesapeake Shores? 

Jesse Metcalfe, who played Trace Riley, was one of the main cast members for the initial four seasons of Chesapeake shores. Trace is an accomplished musician and singer who returned to Chesapeake from Nashville. However, the actor decided to quit the show before its fifth season. The announcement came on before the premiere of the fifth season. Trace last appeared in the second episode of Chesapeake Season 5 on August 22.  

Jesse’s decision surprised the fans, who started asking him the reason behind this decision on his social media. Jesse replied to one of the fans’ questions, saying that he did not like the storyline ahead for his character, Trace. Metcalfe also said that he wanted Trace and Abby to end up together in the show. But it did not happen.

The viewers have to wait a little longer to see the aftermath of Kristen and David’s kiss. But the wait won’t be that long. Recently the series co-creator Robert King shared some snaps straight from the set. He tweeted that production for the next run has finally begun. The setup looks quite familiar. Perhaps the filming is currently taking place in Kristen’s house. The filming for season 3 started on November 15. So, the third season might not take much time like its sophomore run. Further, David star Mike Colter and Ben Shakir star Aasif Mandvi seem busy speculating what’s next.

The renewal announcement came as a follow-up when the creators got the brand new TV deal. Recently CBS studio confirmed that Michelle King and Robert King signed a five-year, eight-figure deal to stay in the company for the future seasons. Two days before the sophomore finale could release, the series official Twitter account reshared its first cryptic trailer. The trailer was first launched in March 2020 and reshared on October 8, 2021. It sheds some light on the first episode’s title. That later fades away to black smoke and adds up to 974. At the same time, it remains unclear what these numbers mean. But the showrunner Robert stated that this puzzle won’t solve easily.

On the other hand, the series once again shared an hour after the second season finale. It shows some missing puzzles coming together to create some kind of map. The CW has dropped the synopsis and promo for the seventh episode titled “Someplace Far Away From All This Violence.” Hope will return to the Salvatore Boarding School, and the Super Squad will be surprised to see her. After Landon’s death, Hope seems to have lost the emotional contact from her human side. Instead, her Tribrid side has made her cruel, violent, and emotionless. ‘Tehran’ is an espionage thriller drama series, which premiered in September 2021 on Apple TV. The show is based on the political tensions between Israel and Iran. Tehran is created by Fauda fame Moshe Zonder, with Omri Shenhar as a writer. 

It revolves around an Israeli Mossad agent Tamar Rabinyan, with an Irani background. She was assigned her first assignment in the first season of Tehran. Tehran Wins An International Emmy

Apple TV+’s Israeli spy thriller drama series won the Best Drama Series at 49th International Emmys. In the best drama category, Tehran took out the Indian series “Aarya,” Chilean show “El Presidente,” and British show “There She Goes.”

The series is only the third ever TV series from Israel to win the Emmy honor. Previously, Israel had only ever won two International Emmy Awards, the Best comedy series in 2018 for “Nevsu” and best comedy in 2010 for the show “Ramzor.”

Tehran Season 2 Renewed By AppleTV+

The first season of Tehran, which started premiering on September 25, 2020, ended with a cliffhanger on October 30. For the plot and its depiction, the first season received praises from fans and critics alike. Meanwhile, on January 26, 2021, AppleTv+ confirmed the show’s renewal for Tehran Season 2. 

Naturally, the news of the show’s comeback has got the fans excited. However, there is no official information about the show’s release date yet. According to reports, the production for the second season will begin in late 2021. What To Expect From Alex Rider Season 2?

Alex Rider Season 2 will reportedly be based on the fourth book in Horowitz’s spy novel series titled Eagle Strike. The season will likely pick up from the aftermaths of the first season, with Alex trying to live as a normal teenager. Meanwhile, the trailer for the second season revealed Billionaire Damian Cray as the big bad of the series. Cray is also the main antagonist in the fourth book serving as the source material for the season. Thus, we can expect Alex to go all gun blazing against Cray in the next season. 

In the book, Alex uncovers a conspiracy by environmentalist and Tech Billionaire Damian Cray to seize charge of the US nuclear weapons. And unleash missiles aimed at key drug-producing countries irrespective of the collateral damage to end the worldwide drug trade. Alex’s battle to stop him takes him from the south of France through Amsterdam’s streets and finally to Air Force One.

Well, the week came out most rewarding for the foreign language series on the streaming giant. As Colombia telenovela, The Queen Of Flow Season 2 watched for 38.6M hours beating The Tiger King Season, watched for over 30M hours. However, K-drama Hellbound beat them all as it topped the streamer chart just the following day of its release.

Despite the series breaking the records with its fantastic storyline and performance, Netflix is yet to announce the future of the series. Park’s return raised many questions. Many believe that Kyung-Hun, the cult leader Chairman Jeong Jin-Soo, and Deacon Yuji could also return if they go through the same execution process. While the series will explore the detective’s decree, the second run might focus on Deacon’s journey in prison. However, nothing is clear to date. But fans can expect to see more of the familiar faces in Hellbound Season 2 if it returns.
