While HBO renewed Avenue 5 Season 2 earlier than expected, the series production faced plenty of setbacks due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, fans don’t have to fret as we have some good news for Avenue 5’s fans. Recently Amy Gravitt, the executive producer of HBO programming, confirmed that the sophomore run is on the right track. Howbeit nothing is clear at this moment. Yet, the EP ensured that they would soon reward fans for having patience all this year.

Created by Armando Iannucci, the series takes place in the future, mostly in space. It follows the struggle of an interplanetary cruise ship, the Avenue 5’s staff, after the death of the chief engineer. Chief engineer’s death caused the momentary loss of their artificial gravity, as the ship hurled a few degrees off-course. With limited resources, they have to find a way to return to Earth, which is likely to take three years. However, it’s intriguing to see how they will manage to return safely.

Avenue 5 Season 2: Renewal Updates

Of course, yes! Shortly after the first season landed on the network, HBO renewed Avenue 5 for the second run. Well, the network didn’t take much time to decide its fate after the pilot episode received a favorable rating. In the press release, Amy said that they love every part of Avenue 5 and called the series an inaugural voyage. Further, Amy praised Armando Iannucci’s comic timing and his co-stars for their intelligent and biting comedy. Though the first season gained mixed responses, yet HBO is looking forward to the second run.

While the series was renewed just after the few episodes dropped on the network, production took longer than expected. But, lately, Amy cited that the creators are on track to return with the second run. Did we tell you that the creator had already mapped the show’s first six episodes last year? Armando told THR that they have finished mapping the first six episodes, which are soon to film. Still, the production halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The creator promised to map the rest of the three episodes this year. As per Armando, the finale will depend on their mood as people were in isolation at that time, so how things would follow up was purely dependent on Armando and the creative team’s mood.

Shortly in August 2021, Armando ensured that they would begin filming the immediate future. Soon, the series star Josh Gad shared a GIF of the first day of filming. “First day of shooting,” Josh captioned, and season 5 is going to be “insane,” which the creator and the company have ever done.

Who Could Be In The Cast?

Though the cast list has yet to reveal, we can expect that the first season cast will likely return. Except for Daisy May Cooper’s Sarah, who died in the first season, and ship owner Josh Gad’s Herman Judd. Other cast members who could return are Hugh Laurie as Ryan Clark, Zach Woods as Matt Spencer, and Rebecca Front as Karen Kelly. In addition, Suzy Nakamura as Iris Kimura might return with Lenora Crichlow as BillieMcEvoy. Additionally, Ethan Phillips as Spike Martin and Nikki Amuka-Bird as Rav Mulcair might join as well.

Apart from them, Armando will return to handle the command for the second season as well. He stated that he’s happy to return with the second run to explore Captain Ryan Clark and his crew and passengers’ journey in the next run. Armando further stated that the passenger would go through severe physical and emotional hell in season 2. Well, Armando is infamous for dropping the show in the middle of its run. Thus it’s thrilling to hear that something similar won’t happen with Avenue 5 (at least for now).

Avenue 5 Season 2: What Will Happen Next?

The following season perhaps explores the teamwork as the passenger might work with the crew to find a solution to return to Earth as soon as possible. But, for this, they along with the team have to hear Billie’s order. As for Billie, she’s the only crew member left who knows what she’s talking about. On the other hand, you can expect a story plot revolving around Iris. As she accidentally sent back instead of Judd. But there’s a possibility she safely reached Earth and might seek help there.

Sheldon will be introduced to the field of engineering in Young Sheldon Season 5 Episode 7. He will take his first engineering class at the university. However, for the first time, Sheldon will find something that will truly challenge his abilities. He will struggle with his homework, while Missy enjoys watching her brother suffer.

What’s Next For Rue & Jules? New Issues Coming Up

At the end of the first season, we saw Rue and Jules reuniting after Rue’s kidney disease. Maddy and Nate indulge in a confrontation about his sexuality, as he couldn’t get an erection. Cassie decided to abort her child and split up with McKay. Kat caught feeling for Ethan and approached him, which did not go well.

Further, Rue faced Nate, warning about exposing Cal. At the same time, Nate and Maddy decided to gently part their ways. Even though Rue and Jules were to leave town together. But Rue left Jules alone on a train at the last minute. She returned to her home, snorted oxycodone, and started hallucinating, leaving her fate undetermined.

Unfortunately, there is not much info about the plot of Euphoria Season 2 as of now. But we assume that the season will pick up from the aftermaths of the first season. It will delve deeper into the complicated lives and relationships of the characters. Several cast interviews also hint that the upcoming season will have a darker and more gritty tone. 

Euphoria Season 2: Release Date

The first season of the HBO teen drama premiered on June 16, 2019, with the season finale releasing on August 4. The first season, having eight episodes has been a global hit for the network. And because of that, the confirmation of the show’s renewal for a second season came on July 12, 2019. The creators announced the news via Euphoria’s official Twitter handle. Next, the series’ production was set to begin in early 2020. But the pandemic caused a delay in the filming.

Meanwhile, HBO released two special episodes of Euphoria on December 6, 2020, and January 24, 2021. The episodes served as a prelude to Euphoria Season 2, continuing season one’s storyline. The production for the second installment of HBO’s Euphoria began in April 2021. And the show creators are hopeful that they will wrap up the production by November 2021. If everything goes smoothly, then we can expect Euphoria Season 2 to release around spring 2022.

The possibility of Fox’s crime drama’s return for Prison Break Season 6 still leaves the fans excited and nervous. Unfortunately, however, the controversial circumstances between stars and the creators have put a long halt on the show’s future. The fifth season’s finale aired in May 2017. After that, the series was renewed for the sixth installment in January 2018.

However, following a huge fallout between the show’s lead actor Wentworth Miller and the creators resulted in the cancellation of the series. Several other stars also came to support Miller’s decision following the incident that became massive news on social media. Prison Break Season 6: Will The Series Return?

The crime drama series was renewed for season 6 in 2018. The entertainment president Michael Thorn revealed that the next installment was in the early stages of development. Creator Paul Scheuring also said that the script for the premiere episode of Prison Break Season 6 was completed. A few days later, the network confirmed the return of Amaury Nolasco and William Fichtner. Dominic Purcell shared that the production for Prison Break season 6 had begun.

However, the plans took a turn for the worst in 2019. In August 2019, Fox’s CEO Charlie Collier said that the network has no current plans for Prison Break. Prison Break’s writer room took to Twitter to share that the sixth season is not on the cards for the near future. However, they left a hopeful message saying that “Nothing Is Ever Over.”

Thus, fans can be hopeful that the series will return for the next installment in the future. However, it might be a while before things fall back in place for the network, the creators, and the show’s stars. However, Fox has now announced the official cancelation of the series. Thus, we have a glimmer of hope to hold onto.

What Lead To The Cancelation?

The audience did not receive the previous season quite well. Some fans believed that season 5 was more of a stretch out than depicting a strong story. Moreover, a fallout between the show’s creators and the lead actor Wentworth Miller was also rumored on social media. Following the incident, Wentworth declared that he would not be interested in playing Micheal Scofield anymore.

He took a send about being a Queer and was reluctant to play a straight character. Co-star Dominic Purcell also took social media to support Wentworth. He said that he would not be returning for Prison Break Season 6 as well. Wentworth shared the news on social media and said that “Micheal’s story had been told.” So he would not return to play the character.

Moreover, he addressed the fans who would be disappointed by the news. He opened up about being gay and would not be interested in playing a straight character on screen. The whole incident was disheartening for the dedicated fans of the series. However, some of them felt that the cancelation is for the best. Although, the series can surely return without its lead actors with a slightly different plot in the future.

What Could’ve Been The Plot For The Next Season?

The previous season ended with Micheal being released from prison. He was granted total immunity for all the crimes he committed under CIA agent Poseedon’s leadership. However, his freedom was not much Micheal was pleased with. He was in prison for so long that he had no idea if he was really free. 

If the series returns, Micheal could take up the job offered by the CIA’s director, which would help them use his skills to deal with crimes. But, after his return, Scofield would find it hard to settle down with his constant paranoia that things could go south at any time. However, it seems impossible to imagine the series without Miller, the original lead. If the network convinces Miller to return, we can expect to see an exciting plotline that was previously lined up. 

Currently, the network has no plans for reviving the series. However, if the show returns, we will see some major changes in the storyline. Luckily, Fox has not canceled the series yet. So, we can stay hopeful about the series to return for Prison Break Season 6 in the future. Although, it would be unfair to put a pin on an expected return date for now. The upcoming episode is titled “The Lady, or the Tigress?” Another batman Protege, Oracle, will question Artemis’s decision about trusting her new allies in the seventh episode. The Former Batgirl, Barbara, will help Artemis find the route to Santa Prisca through her memories. Artemis will be confused at first. But eventually, she and the squad will set out for Santa Prisca to fight the League of Shadows and rescue their team member Orphan.

The sixth episode of Young Justice Season 4 Episode 6 started with a flashback about Artemis reminiscing some old yet painful memories about her past. It turned out that Artemis was haunted by the separation from her sister, Jade. Jade, who is now known as Cheshire, escaped their father to start a new life.

But after a rough ride, she came back to Artemis seeking refuge from their abusive father, Sportsmaster. In the present time, Artemis seeks help from her sister to figure out who among Onyx and Cassandra were telling the truth. Both defected from the League Of Shadows and fought against the shadow ninjas with the team in the previous episode.

Meanwhile, in Young Justice Season 4 Episode 6, Cheshire meets Artemis’s boyfriend, Jason Bard. Another Batman’s sidekick, Orphan, also joined Artemis. Cassandra claimed to have been abandoned by her mother due to her father, Vandal. Her father had kept the two separated for many years. Further, Onyx claimed to be Amazing-Man’s granddaughter. She found her life’s purpose in the League of Shadows. However, she decided to leave the group after lady Shiva and Deathstroke took over the leadership. 

Soon after, Artemis and the team were attacked by Black Spider and Rictus. Lady Shiva led them to get hold of Cassandra. Unfortunately, Shiva captured Orphan, who was also her daughter. At the end of Young Justice Season 4 Episode 6, the squad decided to rescue Orphan.

The seventh episode of Young Justice Season 4 will air on November 18, 2021. HBO Max airs each new episode weekly at 3:00 a.m. ET on Thursdays, with an estimated runtime of 25 minutes. The current season will feature 26 episodes in total.

Further, a video about Hammond moving his Renault Scenic on the side of the road also went viral on social media. The scene was shot in Crickhowell, South Powys. A local made the video with camera operators and the fans surrounding the stars on the shoot location.

Meanwhile, another Twitter post about the show came out from Sussex. The show’s stars were spotted around the Beachy Head in Eastbourne. it has been reported that three episodes for The Grand Tour Season 5 have been filmed, including the third episode titled “Scotland Special.” And, the fourth episode’s production was also underway. Thus, we can hope to receive another season or maybe another special episode soon.

The Grand Tour Season 5: Release Date

It is still unclear whether the upcoming two episodes will be part of the fourth or the fifth installments. Fans would be eagerly waiting to receive at least a single episode in 2021. However, it seems highly unlikely. Thus, we can expect the motoring show to return in 2022. 

Unfortunately, the network has not announced an official release of The Grand Tour Season 5 yet. Luckily, the show has been a huge success and has a viewership in around 196 countries.
