It looks like the highly anticipated comedy-drama will take a while before Ginny & Georgia Season 2 returns on Netflix. While the fans are hoping for the show to return this year, the production schedule of the second season suggests otherwise. Currently, as per the reports, the second season is being written. And, the production is scheduled to begin in November 2021. Hence, it will be a while before Ginny, Georgia, and their friends return for season 2. The show follows Ginny, a fifteen-year-old teenager who has more maturity than her thirty-year-old mother, Georgia. The series is set in New England, as Georgia decides to give her kids Ginny and Austin a better life than she had experienced. The first season aired ten episodes exploring the ups and downs of Ginny’s relationship with her cunning mother and her journey to make new friends. At the same time, she deals with cultural, racial, social, and identity crises. In addition, we see Ginny getting through her new life in New England as he goes through her adolescence.

Ginny & Georgia Season 2: Antonia Gentry Teases Brief Details

Antonia Gentry, who portrays Ginny in the show, revealed a few details about the upcoming season in August while talking to Us Weekly. Gentry shared that she has not gotten the chance to read the script for the second season yet. However, the writers are furiously working on it. She added that the production had served her with very little information about the following season. Although, Gentry revealed that what will come would be fascinating. 

Gentry suggested that she would like Ginny to get along with Marcus in Ginny & Georgia Season 2. She further clarified that it was her point of view, and the production might have different plans. However, fans will have to wait a while to witness the big reunion between Marcus and Ginny.

Season 2: Renewal And Production Details

Netflix renewed the comedy drama for the second installment of Ginny and Georgia in April 2021. The streaming network announced the news with a 1-minute video. Well, there has been buzz that Zeta Ficción TV, the production house behind the show, has planned to start production in February 2021 to avoid any delays. But, Netflix is yet to reveal when filming will begin.

Elite Season 5: Who Will Be In The Cast?

Early this year, Deadline reported that two new members had joined the YA boarding school for the fifth run. Netflix has added Brazilian actor André Lamoglia and Argentinean actress Valentina Zenere to the cast roaster. André is best known for his role as Rafael Santos Moreira in Juacas. While Valentina is known for her role in Disney’s Soy Luna as Ámber Smith. But, Netflix is yet to disclose details regarding their roles.

Besides them, Adam Nourou as Eric, as well as Isabel Garrido will also join the fifth run. As far as the main cast, judging by the prior season finale Itzan Escamilla as Samuel will join the cast. Along with him, Omar Shana as Omar, Claudia Salas as Rebe, and Georgina Amorós as Caye will also join. Carla Díaz as Ari Blanco Commerford, Martina Cariddi as Mencía Blanco Commerford, and Manu Ríos as Patrick Blanco Commerford will join as well. Miguel who played Guzmán has been the main cast of the show. But, in the fourth season finale, he leaves Las Encinas with his best friend Ander (Arón Piper) for a short trip. For fans of Elite, Ander’s return remains a big question. He broke up with Omar in the fourth-run finale before joining Guzmán on his trip. Well, season 3 ended on a bitter note. Dolores seemingly has erased herself from Westworld after removing the evil quantum computer Rehoboam. But one thing we learned about the show is that nothing is gone forever. So indeed, Wood could return in some amount in Westworld Season 4.

Created by Lisa Roy and Jonathan Nolan, Westworld takes place in the future, where Delos Inc. operates several theme parks hosted by androids. These androids are programmed to fulfill the guests’ desires. But their programming allows them to follow even violent commands of their guest without even harming them. However, Dolores’ revolution changed the show when she and other enlightened hosts massacred human guests.

Recently, a new video has emerged from the set of Westworld, featuring someone similar to Dolores walking down a city’s street with dead bodies. A TikTok user, mickmicknyc, posted the video teasing someone closely dressed in Dolores’ Western outfit striding on a New York City street, while several dead bodies were on the ground. Despite the actress, looks are similar to Wood’s character. Yet it’s pretty impossible to confirm whether she’s Wood or someone else. Since the face doesn’t appear clearly.

So possibly the sequence could only be filmed to portray flashbacks or a computer-induced hallucination for Westworld Season 4. Well, anything could happen, and until the show airs, every possible theory makes sense. Further, there’s a slight chance that this footage may be only filmed for the promo purpose. It has nothing to do with the rest of the fourth season.

Will Wood Appear In Different Role?

Well, there have been plenty of theories that tease Wood’s potential return in the upcoming season. One such theory suggests that Dolores might not return. Who Will Feature in Season 5?

Fortunately for the fans, Kevin Costner will return as John Dutton for Yellowstone Season 4. Further, the main cast joining next season are Luke Grimes as Kayce, Kelly Reily as Beth, Wes Bentley as Jamie, Cole Hauser as Rip, and Kelsey Asbille as Monica. Some new faces will also be a season at the Dutton ranch this season. In addition, Katherine Kelly, Finn Little, and Jacki Weaver will also join the cast.
