As per the synopsis, Kim will struggle for her life in the second episode of Chicago PD season 9. Meanwhile, the team will hustle to find Kim’s abductor. Further, the Firehouse 51 crew will be responsible for rescuing the victim stuck in a heavily damaged car. As the crew tries to save the stuck victim, they discover that the person in the car is familiar.

As per the logline, we will see that Casey’s roof rescue operation video is about to get viral online. Further, Hermann will have to bear the consequences after he breaks protocol in the next episode. In addition, Mouch will set up a free library at Firehouse 51 during Chicago Fire season 10 Episode 2. Also, the second episode of the One Chicago franchise is expected to be a crossover between the franchise shows.

9-1-1 Season 5 begins a week after the ransomware attack, as we see the 118th unit wandering in the city with all the names running wild on the treats. There were ostriches, giraffes, camels, and elephants in the streets of LA. Then, the clock reverses a week ago to the start of the attack with malfunctions in the cellular network, GPS app, and video games. While Athena and the 118th discuss the matter, they speculate about the malfunctions being a massive cyber attack.

Next, we see Jeffery Hudson, the Realtor Rapist, is under trial, making an intimidating entry to the court in front of his victims. As the proceedings begin, the realtor rapist fires his lawyer and appeals for a self-representation. The thought of the serial rapist asking questions about his crime to his victims threatens them. While the judge considers his request, Athena inspires the victims to stay strong.

Meanwhile, Maddie finds himself in a situation that leads to a panic attack and ends up in a hospital. The doctor suggests undermining anxiety which connects to him being shot four months ago. Further, as the night falls, Athena has a traumatic dream about the realtor rapist’s attack when she almost dies. The next day she faces her attacker in the courtroom, who grills about her past misconduct reports. Further, he requests the evidence to be suppressed on the grounds of an illegal search, which could lead to the serial realtor rapist going free in the first episode of 9-1-1 season 5.

The second wave of the cyber attack leads to a total loss of radar and radio as an air-traffic control tower system fails. However, a flight control operator has a heart attack, and the 118th paramedic team walks in to save the day. Meanwhile, the realtor rapist escapes as the attack hits the courtroom and viciously creating chaos all over the city. Again, the 118th have their hands complete with emergencies as the city is under chaos as the town slowly blackout.

Towards the end, while Athena and his partner try to track the serial rapist at his admirers’ homes, a medevac helicopter is on the verge of crashing at the hospital. At last, when Jeffery, the realtor rapist, drops at his lawyer’s house to abduct her, Athena’s partner gets a hold of him. Soon, we will see how things go for Athena and the 118th in the next episode of 9-1-1 season 5.

In episode 1, Detective Lopez will be kidnapped on her wedding day. Further, Officer Nolan and the entire squad constantly try their best to find Lopez. The promo also reveals that the team has found the abductors of Angela, La Fiera, a drug cartel in Guatemala.
