The Chestnut Man Season 2 Renewed By Netflix? More Crime Coming Up

Netflix has recently premiered the first season of the Danish thriller series, and fans have already started looking forward to The Chestnut Man Season 2. The streaming network’s latest thriller series has already earned an 8.1 rating on IMDB. Hence, the early response suggests a bright probability of the show’s return for another season.

The Chestnut man follows Officer Thulin and her newly assigned partner Hess as they investigate a gruesome murder. Throughout the series, we see the two officers tried all the tricks in the book to lure the serial killer who has been haunting the people for a long time. But, unfortunately, the situation worsens when a politician, Rosa Hartung’s teenage daughter, goes missing. Moreover, her fingerprints are found on a chestnut figurine left by the serial killer on the crimes scene. So when will The Chestnut Man return for season 2? Continue reading further to find out.

The Chestnut Season 2: What Will Happen?

While there have been no new updates for the future and the plotline of The Chestnut man Season 2, the ending of the first season has given us a fair idea about how the series might make a return. In the season finale, we saw Officer Thulin getting back to a desk job in the cybercrime unit, which she had considered since the beginning.

There is no doubt that Thulin is an exceptional investigator and should be working out in the field. However, she realizes that her dedication to the cases gravely affects her personal life. Hence, she decides to take a break after a traumatic face-off with the Chessman killer. Therefore, we can anticipate that Thulin will return in the upcoming season somewhere in the feature.

Furthermore, we saw The Chestnut Man perishing towards the end of the first season. And the amount of damage he took does not make it highly unlikely for his return. However, the first season left us with a possibility that there must be some other admirers of the serial killer who might rise to the occasion as a copycat in The Chestnut Man Season 2.

Moreover, Linus Bekker seemed to have a fair idea about The Chestnut man’s identity. However, Linus kept quiet about it, and he might not be the only one of Simon’s sympathizers. Hence we can expect the rise of some more cold murders in the upcoming season. Moreover, the series can also take some crucial stories by introducing a new storyline with the same lead characters, like the thriller drama The Sinner.

The first season recently premiered on September 29, 2021. Moreover, Netflix has made no official announcement for a second season yet. Hence, we can expect the streaming site to renew the show for another season. So stay tuned for more recent news about The Chestnut Man.

The Blacklist Season 9: Will Feature Huge Changes In Ressler And Task Force Life! What’s Next For Red?

As we are edging closer to The Blacklist Season 9 premiere, the mythology revealed in season 8’s last three episodes has become more crucial in framing the following run. While all the worth foreshadowing clues have already been answered but have also offered some more lingering questions.

Well, “Konets” finally concluded the long chase of No. 1 Blacklister Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone). But a deleted scene from the finale episode might hint at Donald Ressler’s next mission in The Blacklist Season 9.

The Blacklist Season 9: What Will Happen Next?

Well, the last season portrayed the budding romance between Keen and Ressler. But unfortunately, it never happened the way we imagined. As in the previous season finale, after Keen was shot, the Task Force, along with Ressler, rushed towards Keen. But it remains unclear whether Ressler got a chance to say a final goodbye to her. AlyBlacklist posted a deleted scene of the eighth season finale where Ressler appears lying in a hospital bed.

It seems he’s still recovering from the gunshot wound from the “Godwin Page” episode. In the short clip, he ordered Chinese food, but the nurse took it away. But when Ressler asked whether he could at least get some cookies, the nurse allowed him. Inside the fortune cookie, it reads, “A faithful friend is a strong defense,” it shows Ressler’s hidden motives for Blacklist season 9. Well, he has been Keen’s faithful friend. We wish we could say that for Keen too. But it seems Ressler could go rogue to take revenge for her death.

Will Follow A Time Jump

According to TVLine, The Blacklist Season 9 will follow a two-year time jump after the prior season finale. Now the FBI Task Force has been separated as Keen’s murder has brought unexpected changes in their lives. Further, Red has fled to an unknown place, and nobody knows about his whereabouts. Lately, José Luis Useche disclosed one of the episode titles “The Skinner,” which hints at the manhunt. Harold Cooper will travel to Cuba in search of Red. But it remains unclear why the Task Force needs Red’s help now.

Moreover, the two-year time jump teased significant changes in Ressler’s life. Well, many fans are hoping to explore the aftermath of Keen’s death. However, it seems that they have to wait to find the missing puzzles. Further, Diego Klattenhoff’s character’s leaked image teases that he’s still grieving over the loss. So perhaps the deleted scene could be the beginning of Ressler’s quest to clear the dirt on Keen’s name.

The Blacklist Season 9: When Will It Return?

The Blacklist is bringing plenty of changes in the upcoming run. Following the Friday night’s opening since the seventh season, the last two episodes of the eighth season moved on the Wednesday slot. Elite Season 5: A Prominent Character Leaves The Show! What’s Next For Samuel & Carla?

Netflix’s famous Spanish drama Elite has won several hearts. But unfortunately, fans will have to say goodbye to one of their favorite characters as a key character has decided not to return for Elite Season 5. Created by Carlos Montero and Darío Maradona, Elite takes place in a fictional elite school, Las Encinas. It follows the relationship between the working-class and elite students while delving deeper into diverse sexual themes and mysteries which revolve in every season.

Elite Season 5: Has Filming Begun?

Netflix renewed Elite for the fifth season way back in early 2020, before the fourth season could ever start airing. Thus, it remains unclear whether the filming for the next run has begun or not. Well, there has been buzz that Zeta Ficción TV, the production house behind the show, has planned to start production in February 2021 to avoid any delays. But, Netflix is yet to reveal when filming will begin.

Elite Season 5: Who Will Be In The Cast?

Early this year, Deadline reported that two new members had joined the YA boarding school for the fifth run. Netflix has added Brazilian actor André Lamoglia and Argentinean actress Valentina Zenere to the cast roaster. André is best known for his role as Rafael Santos Moreira in Juacas. While Valentina is known for her role in Disney’s Soy Luna as Ámber Smith. But, Netflix is yet to disclose details regarding their roles.

Besides them, Adam Nourou as Eric, as well as Isabel Garrido will also join the fifth run. As far as the main cast, judging by the prior season finale Itzan Escamilla as Samuel will join the cast. Along with him, Omar Shana as Omar, Claudia Salas as Rebe, and Georgina Amorós as Caye will also join. Carla Díaz as Ari Blanco Commerford, Martina Cariddi as Mencía Blanco Commerford, and Manu Ríos as Patrick Blanco Commerford will join as well. Pol Granch as Phillipe Florian Von will return with Diego Martín as Benjamín Blanco.

Miguel Bernardeau Won’t Return

Miguel who played Guzmán has been the main cast of the show. But, in the fourth season finale, he leaves Las Encinas with his best friend Ander (Arón Piper) for a short trip. Well, his trip plan comes after Guzmán killed a businessman, Armando (Andrés Velencoso), with a firework gun. But, Samuel and Rebe helped him to hide the murder. So now, the chances of his return in Elite Season 5 are pretty slim. As, on July 16, Miguel shared a video on the official page confirming his exit from the show. He also thanked Netflix and creators for giving him this chance. He added that his character taught him that it’s never too late for changes.

Will Ander Return?

For fans of Elite, Ander’s return remains a big question. He broke up with Omar in the fourth-run finale before joining Guzmán on his trip. But, the actor who plays Ander hasn’t released an official video announcing his departure, just like his co-star Miguel Bernardeau did. Thus there’s a slight possibility that Piper could return as Ander. But it totally depends upon his story arc.

Elite Season 5: What Will Happen Next?

The fourth season ended with a shocking twist where Guzmán fled to cover up Armando’s murder. Meanwhile, Samuel rushed to the airport to stop Carla from leaving for London. It quickly turned out as a heated debate when Samuel and Carla played an intense sexual game. Well, the finale ended with the pair trying to figure out everything between them. So we can expect that the fifth run could focus more on their relationship while dealing with the aftermath of Guzmán’s action.
