Schitt’s Creek Season 7: The father-son duo Eugene and Dan Levy swept off everyone when they came to Netflix with their sitcom- Schitt’s Creek. Six seasons of the show and nobody is done with it. The latest and the sixth season of the show released earlier this year and it already feels like forever.

Has It Been Renewed?

The sixth season was the last of the show. While many fans would love to continue to watch the show to eternity and spend a lot of time with the riches-to-rags, the Rose family, it looks like we might not get more of the show. Back in spring 2019, the creator of the show Dan Levy announced that the show is ending with an emotional post telling everyone that the sixth season will be it’s last. Check out the post here-

When Schitt’s Creek was renewed for two more seasons in its fourth year, Levy had begun plotting the ending arc of the show. The show had great viewership and Levy at that time knew how he wanted to end the show.

Levy says that it was important for them to make the last episodes of the show great episodes. They didn’t want to make the show feel bloated with a backlog of revelations. They wanted a quick wrap. In fact, Levy thinks that the finale episode- ‘Six Feet Under’ was one of the greatest finales they could have imagined. It is fresh, unexpected, creative, and emotional. It spoke to the show’s format and how they should end it.

Will Schitt’s Creek Season 7 Ever Happen?

By the end of the sixth season, David and Patrick were married, Alexis had decided to pursue a career in NY, Johnny and Moira were heading to Los Angeles where Moira could start working on the soap opera reboot. Johnny also had an idea of a start-up which was also taking shape. It did somehow feels like the end of the story, but there is so much more the creators could explore with the story.

With that said, there is always a possibility for a spin-off or a movie for such great storylines. Danielle Levy right now has his hands full with a three-year deal with ABC but he is open to revisit these characters later on. In an interview, he said that if everyone must believe him. It is hard for him to let go. He could have done 100 more seasons. That means Schitt’s Creek Season 7 is not entirely out of the question. So, let’s just be hopeful there.

What Could Happen Next?

As we mentioned before, the Schitt’s Creek story ended with David and Patrick getting married. They have their own store. Alexis had decided to pursue her career in Marketing and PR. Moira was going to L.A. to get back to soap acting and Johnny was starting his new business. While the show ended with all these characters successfully discovering themselves, a spin-off or a time jump would do no harm.

If Schitt’s Creek Season 7 ever happens, the creators could tell the tale of David and Patrick’s marital life. They could even explore how their store would have become a chain. As for Alexis, fans would be more than happy to know how her career takes off. Would she found someone romantically?

It would be great to see how and who Alexis would have become years after the events of Schitt’s Creek. Not just that, we would love to know what happened to Jonny and his start-up. Was it a good decision to trust the newbies? Maybe, maybe not. Not just this, we would like to see Patrick running for council and know where Ted is and how his life is. Could the seventh season bring Alexis and Ted together?

Prodigal Son Season 2: Renewal Status & Production Details

The first season of Prodigal Son was released in September 2019. After that, fans started hoping that Prodigal Son Season 2 would release around the same time in 2020. But then Fox took all the time it needed to confirm the fate of the show. Last year, Fox canceled all its scripted shows just after the first season. So, that made fans worried about what would happen to Prodigal’s son. However, Prodigal Son has been able to bag a second season. The creators had a lot of faith in the show, but they confirmed that Prodigal Season 2 would happen only in May 2020.

A few months ago, Tom Payne, the lead actor, revealed that they were planning to get into production in October. They were trying to figure out how they would be doing it, keeping in mind all the safety measures. In an interview, Payne says that they feel amazing about the renewal, but they were still in a bit of air at that time. Fast-forward to today, the team has completed the production and is all set to come back with the second season.

Payne revealed that back in the time, he was trying to grow his hair and beard because he has a strong look in Prodigal Son season 2. He says that they do a lot of flashbacks on the show. So, they will have to go back to a period before he was arrested. Before he was even discovered. The actor says that he was a successful surgeon. So, he has a well-do-to life in New York before he was even arrested. So, they will be going back and forth. 

In the time he was in prison, viewers get to see the wilder, wolfish look. It comes out and kind of takes everyone closer to who he really is. So, they will also go back and forth with the beard. So, all this time has given him an opportunity to grow the beard. 

What’s Coming Next?

While we don’t exactly know when The Prodigal Son Season 2 would bring, it looks like the next installment will dig deeper into Malcolm’s own psychopathic tendencies. One question that the second season will explore is whether or not evil can be inherited in the DNA, or do people choose to be the kind of person they are?

Viewers can expect to see some philosophical explanations of this question. The second season will once again draw take inspiration from other crime thrillers. The short teaser does suggest that the show will focus on Ainsley Whitley after the way the first season ended. The second season will also see the viewers as he deals with Malcolm dealing with the demons by the family situation.

FOX has confirmed that the Prodigal Son Season 2 will start airing on Fox from January 12, 2021. The show, however, will move from its Monday slot to Tuesday slot. Penny Dreadful Season 4: What’s The Status?

The latest season of Penny Dreadful, the third season concluded in May 2016. The season was able to bag great critical review with 93% Rotten Tomatoes and 83 on 100 by Metacritic. However, even after such great ratings, it looks like we will not get Penny Dreadful Season 4.

After the third season of the show aired, creator John Logan announced that the third season would be the last of the show as the story has concluded, and he does not see any scope is dragging the show further. This ending was more of a creative decision.

Will It Ever Happen?

It does not look like Penny Dreadful Season 4 will ever happen. John Logan had realized it in the second season, that the third would be the end of the show. The third season sees Vanessa dying as Chandler’s noble sacrifice. As for the creator, Logan feels that this end was the natural end of the story and the end of the show itself.

With that said, there were a number of unresolved storylines in the Penny Dreadful series. These storylines include Ethan’s werewolf backstory and Dracula’s fate story. Despite all of these stories, we suggest fans not wait for Penny Dreadful season 4.

Logan feels that the story would not continue without Vanessa. This show indeed is a supernatural one, and while Vanessa could be resurrected, Logan seems determined to not wake Vanessa from her peace. So, that would mean that we will never get Penny Dreadful Season 4.

Penny Dreadful: City of Angels- The Spin-off

Penny Dreadful: City of Angels, a spin-off series for Penny Dreadful recently released in April 2020. Starring Natalie Dormer, the series soon became the talk of the town. However, the spin-off series has not received great reviews or ratings. The spin-off series is set 50 years after the events of the original show. It takes us to the 1930s, the Golden Age of Hollywood.

Set in Los Angeles, the characters are connected to a dispute between the Mexican deity- Santa Muerte and her sister Magda, a demoness. The detectives Tiago Vega and Lewis Michener go on to investigate a murder where they find themselves deeper and deeper into the history of the city. They even get involved in the tensions between Nazi conspiracies and racial hostilities.

Jason Isaacs Confirms The Show’s Status

Jason Isaacs, who played Hunter Aloysius on OA, has confirmed that the third season of the mystery drama will never happen. Even after fans have desperately and passionately asked for more of the show, we will not get more episodes of the show. Isaacs has definitely established that the show will not come back. Talking about the fan campaigns to save the show, Isaacs says that while everyone respects and takes into account all the fan movements to save the show, it isn’t coming back.

Isaac continued to say that the show indeed isn’t happening, but they have made two seasons of the show, and they are the most brilliant and original episodes that he has been involved in in the past 32 years. He also revealed that all of them were crushed when the cancellation news surfaced. He says that most people he knows have time on their hands. Isaac suggested that if the readers have some time, they must watch The OA. It is a show that reinvents narratives, and it does things that are pretty unexpected.

Talking more about The OA, Isaac says that Brit Marling, who was the co-writer and lead actress of the show, is an original voice, and he was thrilled to be associated with the production. Continuing on, he says that he was crushed when the show was canceled. But now, when he looks back, he thinks that at least they have made two seasons of something that is so different that nothing might be like that ever.

The OA Season 3: What Could Have Happened Next?

In the earlier interviews, the cast of OA has dropped various hints on what could happen in the upcoming seasons of the show. Actor Kingsley Ben-Adir (Karim Washington) said that The OA season 3 would be the wildest seasons ever. He said that he has an idea of what direction the third season would take, but it is all crazy.

He says that everyone would want the end we all deserved. In another interview, Isaac says that the initial two seasons were very different from each other, and he does not doubt that the third season would be very different too. In fact, Isaac says that the creators don’t like getting bored, so they wouldn’t want the audience to feel that either.

The OA did not get a chance to complete the story. There are a number of questions that need to be answered. So, if The OA Season 3 would have happened, we can assume that the season would have answered all of those questions. The OA had come up with the idea of a multi-universe. It brought in the idea of the third dimension. Every person had some power with their birth, but there was only one angel. In the third season of OA, it is possible that the creators could have put some work into this original soul storyline.

However, we know that the show will not happen. It has been a long time since the cancellation, and no other streaming giant has yet renewed the show. It will be interesting to see what happens next there. Will Larry rebuild the coffee house in Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 11, or will he give this business up? He only got into this coffee business to spite the coffee shop owner who had banned him, so now, could he drop that up and move onto something else? It is also possible that we must see Larry in Lockdown, and that would be something really cool to see indeed.

Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 11: Who will be in the show?

What we are sure of, the legendary Larry David is coming back for Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 11. We can expect Cheryl Hines, Jeff Garlin, Susie Essman, and TB Smoove to come back along with him. With them, we can expect to see Ted Danson, Richard Lewis could appear in the next season as they were also a part of the tenth season.

However, it is still unclear who will be the guest celebrities on the show. The previous seasons of Curb Your Enthusiasm have had a number of cameos from many famous celebrities, including Lin-Manuel Miranda, Mila Kunis, Martin Scorsese, Elizabeth Banks, and Isla Fished, among many. So, we can hope for more famous celebrities to come to Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 11.

House of Cards Season 7: Created by Beau Willimon, House of Cards is an American political television drama that aired on Netflix. The last season, season six of the show released in November 2018. Ever since then, fans have been asking for House of Cards Season 7.

The sixth season continues to tell the story of the newly inaugurated Democratic president Claire Underwood. She is dealing with the new threats from within and outside of the White House after the death of her husband and former president Frank Underwood. The elites Annette and Bill Shepherd attempt to manipulate and destroy Claire’s presidency. In the meantime, she tries to escape her husband’s shadow.

The sixth season ended with a number of loose ends that fans need answers to. Would there be House of Cards Season 7 that comes bearing all these answers? It does not look like it. In fact, Netflix has canceled the show. But Why? Here is all about it- 

Why Was The Show Cancelled? 

Back in 2016, Netflix decided to cancel House of Cards after six seasons. The Hollywood Reporter reported that according to the creators of the show, House of Cards had reached a point in terms of creativity where they don’t have many arcs to pursue. So, it felt reasonable for them to bring the show to an end.

However, we believe that there were many other reasons for this cancellation. One of the biggest reasons was the sexual assault allegations against Kevin Spacey. This cancellation announcement came only a day after Buzzfeed had published an article where actor Anthony Rapp alleged that Kevin Spacey tried to have sex with him when the former was only fourteen. Though Netflix did not say that out loud, it seemed quite clear that this scandal had affected the future of House of Cards. 

Netflix could not have seen these allegations against Spacey, and then his exit from the House of Cards franchise would cause some major issues for the series. The fifth season had successfully set up that the sixth season of the show would be Claire vs. Frank. To take control of the situation, Frank had resigned from the presidency to dodge Claire. Then succeeded him as a President. However, Claire didn’t want to be dragged down because of his husband’s name. So, she claimed that her leadership would be a steely-eyed declaration with My turn. While the sixth season was successful in changing the direction that the fifth season had indicated, it still would have been difficult for the creators to continue with the show. 

House of Cards Season 7: Would It Ever Return?

While we believe in saying, Never say never, it seems less likely that House of Cards Season 7 would ever happen. Netflix, indeed, believes in reviving TV shows that have been canceled before. For instance, they have brought many tv series back to life before, including Gilmore Girls, Black Mirror, and Arrested Development. However, when it comes to House of Cards, it seems unlikely that Netflix would allow any other streaming platform to take over the show.

With the end of House of Cards in 2018, it was indeed an end of the era for Netflix. The show was the first original series that Netflix had produced. The show had brought in a number of viewers to the streaming platform. Ever since then, Netflix has been successful in expanding its territory with originally made content. With that said, rounding back to House of Cards, now that the show is canceled. The Second Season Will Take On New Stories

The first season of the show Love on the Spectrum told stories of nine people. These were the ones they selected from the hundreds of applications. While most dating shows hire from an outside casting company but Spectrum’s creators do not use another casting company. Instead, Love on the Spectrum uses their own wide net. They reach out to autism organizations, social groups, disability employment, and psychologists to reach out to people.

Speaking about their casting method O’Clery says that they had a flyer that they would post as far and as wide as possible. This helped people in the autism community to reach out to them and express their interest in being a part of the series. O’Clery says that they had hundreds of hundreds of applications. This showed that people want and need shows like this.

Talking about Love on the Spectrum Season 2, O’Clery explained that the upcoming seasons would focus on telling more stories with the neurodiverse community. He says that there are many more stories they have to tell. Right now, they are just scratching the surface. He also revealed that many fans are also hoping for a reunion for the first season because clearly, fans fell in Love with the cast of the first season.

Love on the Spectrum Season 2: Release Date

Reports reveal that the applications for the second season of the show had opened in June 2020. The show has gained immense popularity in Australia, and hence the show was renewed in no time. The cast for the show is different than any of the other realities show, and everyone knows why.

O’Clery says that when they came up with the idea of Love on the Spectrum, there wasn’t a show that gave an opportunity to people with autism or any other community like that. Love on the Spectrum finds people who are interested, and experts work with them. The team behind the show is quite hopeful that the show’s popularity will bring in more viewers in the next season. New Elements Coming Up In Raised By Wolves Season 2

Aaron Guzikowski, the creator of the show, has revealed that they will be adding some new elements in the second season of the show. In an interview with Decider, the creator revealed everything that could happen on the show. He says that they think that as long as they stick to the characters, they will be able to handle new elements that will be added to the show.

With that revelation, Guzikowski admitted that the new elements for which he is most excited to see in the second season is the relationship of the mother and her ravenous child. Guzikowski also confirmed that the ravenous child is a version of the extinct serpent whose bones are all over Kepler-22b. However, this child has some new attributes that the original serpents didn’t have because of who the mother of this child is.

Guzikowski explains that he is very excited to continue this story. He says that now that the mother has this natural child and she has unleashed it in the world. It will be interesting to see how her relationship with the child will be. How will this relationship change as the show moves forward will be very interesting?

More Humans In The Second Season

Guzikowski revealed that there would be more survivors from Earth who will arrive in the alien world safely. More humans will be on their way in the second season. He says that there is a possibility of more human refugees from Earth in the upcoming season. There is a lot happening on Earth by the end of the first season. People only know a little. So, there are many other possibilities that can be explored. It is possible that human might find their way to the alien planet.

However, Guzikowski says that viewers must not expect these organizations to be anything other than the Mithraic Church-related or the Atheist. He says that viewers already know that by the end of the first season, Mithraic manages to wipe away all the religions as they took over. At the beginning of the show, all religions were fighting with each other, but then Mithraic won the battle, and that kind of simplified the whole equation as Mithraic started working on wiping all the religions altogether.

When Will The Show Release?

Speaking about when the team will be able to start the production, Guzikowski says that he is quite optimistic that they will be able to start production for the second season in the first half of 2021. This means that the production will start about 18 months after the first season of the show concluded. Grand Hotel Season 2: Would It Come Back?

Yes, it is absolutely possible that The Grand Hotel Season 2 might happen. The show ended on a cliffhanger, and if do comes back, it would bring back all the answers. Speaking about The Grand Hotel Season 2, the executive producer of the show- Brian Tanen, says that they left a number of possible suspects by the end. It felt like most of the cast was angry with him because of the cancellation.

Everyone was hopeful that they would get a renewal for the second season. The new season would answer all the questions they have been playing in the first season. Tanen went on to say that he has played with a number of ideas about who could have been murdered. But he keeps changing his mind. He would love the idea of convicting someone who didn’t commit the murder. The second season would be all about trying to clear that name. 

Tanen explains that he is a little bit coy about what would happen to the second season. While he knows that the plug is pulled, deep in his heart, he is still hopeful that some life is still left for the show. If ABC does not bring it back, maybe some other platform would? He revealed that they had meetings, and if there is some other platform that is interested in the soapy gem, then he would love to make another season. 

Who Would It Star? 

Talking about who would come back for The Grand Hotel Season 2, Tanen is proud of bringing the kind of diversity they have been able to bring. So, fans can expect to see Eva Longoria back on screen. She is a champion for Latinx representation on screen and has been quite vocal about standing up with female directors. The executive producer went on to say that he is from Miami, and when they were doing the project, they decided that they would have the whole Latinx family and the cast be largely Latinx.

He says that all of it felt very intuitive. They are very pleased to have all of them on board. Along with Demian Bichir, the show also stars Roselyn Sanchez, Bryan Craig, Denyse Tontz, Wendy Raquel Robinson, Lincoln Younes, Shalim Ortiz, and Anne Winters, Chris Warren, Feliz Ramirez, and Justina Adorno. They might all come back for The Grand Hotel Season 2. 

As for what would come in Grand Hotel Season 2, Tanen understands that fans who have seen the first season of the show know that it ended on a big cliffhanger. Tanen understands how frustrating it is to not get those answers. So, if the show comes back, it would come back with all the answers the first season left every with.
