Worst Witch Season 5: Produced by CBBC, ZDF, and Netflix, The Worst Witch is a British-German fantasy show that follows a group of young witches as they make their way through the school of magic. The series is based on the children’s’ novel by Jill Murphy. Four seasons of the fantasy drama are out, and ever since that, fans of the show have been waiting and looking forward to Worst Witch Season 5. What is happening to it? Would There Be A Fifth Season?

The fourth season of The Worst Witch released on CBBC in January, followed by a global release in October 2020. The season had 13 episodes. Now talking about The Worst Witch Season 5, At Cackle’s, the witch school is usually five years where witches are usually enrolled at the age of 11 or 12 and finish by the age of 16-17 years. In the latest season, the fourth season, Maud says that the next would be the graduation year. So, we can all expect to see ‘The Worst Witch’ Season 5. 

The Worst Witch Season 5: Plot Details

We can expect the fifth season of the show to pick up where the fourth season left off. By the end of the fourth season, fans get to see Mildred and Maud as they team up with Ethel. They try to revive Miss Cackle. Agatha then banishes herself, and Mildred comes to know that Izzy is her sister, and Spike is the father.

Mildred and Ethel work through their differences, and then Mildred becomes the Head Girl of the school. She is grateful. As Mildred becomes the head girl, she takes some time to reflect on how long she has come since she first came into the Cackle’s academy. ‘The Worst Witch’ will most probably follow Mildred and her friends’ journey as they prepare for their last in school. It will be the graduation year for all of them. 

Who Would Be In It? 

We can expect the whole cast from the fourth season to reprise their roles in the fifth season. This includes Clare Higgins (Headmistress), Raquel Cassidy, and Miss Ada Cackle (Deputy headmistress), Lydia Page (Mildred Hubble), Megan Hughes (Maud), Tamara Smart (Enid), Jenny Richardson (Ethel), and many more.

With the whole cast coming back, we can also expect to see some new faces in the upcoming season of The Worst Witch. This includes Luciana Akpobaro as she comes in to play Adura. Accompanying her is Billie Boullet as Fenella, Karen Paullada as Arabella, and Nitin Gantra, who might come in as Mr. Daisey. The whole lead cast would return too. 

The Worst Witch Season 5: Release Date

As far as the release date is concerned, all the previous seasons of ‘The Worst Witch’ released in January. If the COVID-19 does not hamper with the producer and CBBC does choose to renew ‘The Worst Witch’ Season 5, fans can expect the show to release sometime in the first half of 2021 on CBBC and the second half on Netflix for their global viewers.

Is iZombie Season 6 Happening?

While many fans were hoping that we would get iZombie Season 6, the truth is the sixth season will never happen. Back in 2018, the creators of iZombie announced the renewal of fifth season. Along with that announcement they also announced that the fifth season will be the last of the show. The showrunner Rob Thomas in the announcement said that it is lovely to bow an end to the show. They will answer all the long-term questions and arcs.

While fans wanted more of the show, as a silver lining in the gray cloud, this timely announcement gave the creators a chance to wrap up the show neatly. With that said, the show from its beginning has been a crime solving show and then it evolved into a story that was about a massive outbreak, warring factions who were trying to fight for survival and many more things. If the show would have continued, it is possible that the show might have become an undead shark. So this way, with ending with the fifth season, it looks like the show ended just in the right moment.

What Happened In The End?

By the end of the fifth season, the Seattle comes head to head. Finally, Liv & co. find a way to cure the zombie virus. They prove that it is possible. The episode ends with a time jump where fans get to see Ravi, the head of the CDC, Peyton who have now become the DA, and Clive, who is the co-captain of the SFPD and Dale. They are on a talk show where they can be seen discussing the final days of the whole outbreak. They make it clear that they have dealt with the virus and everyone thinks that Liv died in the final battle. Although, things don’t end there. There is a twist in the end. Liv isn’t dead. She and the major have come with the original dram of zombie land somewhere all the ones who did not want to be cured could live happily.

Everything That Could Be Explored In Season 6

If a sixth season does happen, it will be a great way to explore the post-zombie lives. Not just that, the show might even explore main characters and how the zombie land was. It would also be interesting to watch how Liv and Major managed to take everyone who wanted to leave go there. Along with that, there were a number of storylines that we wished that the show might address. The show might address the ten year gap in detail? What happened to Filmore Graves? The massive corporation? Did Blaine get out of the well and caused more trouble?  

While the show has been cancelled for now, you never know. It is completely possible that some other creator would pick the show and make more of it. iZombie was one of the most popular cult hit. It was nominated for a number of Teen Choice awards and was able to bag great reviews from the critics. So, anything is possible. More Time In Paris Confirmed!

All the Emily in Paris fans, it looks like you’re in for some good news. Lily Collins is coming back for another round of the Parisian adventure. Netflix has renewed Emily in Paris for a second season. The rom-com was originally a Paramount Network, but soon it moved to Netflix and released this October. The show made its place in Netflix’s Top 10 soon after the release.

Netflix has taken a number of posts to announce this renewal. One of the ways Netflix announced this renewal was in the form of a letter that Emily’s on-screen boss, Sylvie Grateau, wrote to her boss in Chicago, making it clear that they are extending Emily’s time in Paris. Check the post here- 

Before this renewal news surfaced, in an interview with E!, the creator of the show Darren Star revealed that he has some ideas for the next season. He said in the interview that he does not know about the second season yet, but he thinks that Emily has some very tough choices to make. The show is very much about the culture undermining her expectations for how things will be, and everything will not be as it seems. The show is all about challenging her American worldview. The creators reveal that there are a number of forks and a lot of places to go to. 

New Things Coming Up In Emily In Paris Season 2

We are all indeed looking forward to more of Paris through Emily in Emily In Paris Season 2. Other than that, in an interview with Cosmopolitan, Bravo hinted that the first season of the series had planted story arcs for a number of characters. For instance, Fans who have already seen the show would remember Camille kissing Emily, and then she says she isn’t sorry. Then next, when Camille and Emily are in bed, she is like- I like the picture. These are all the seeds Bravo explained. Anything can happen when these characters come back for Emily in Paris Season 2. Darren wants the second season to be very open-minded. 

In an interview with Vogue U.K., Lily Collins talked about this same queer arc. She said in the interview that there are a number of moments on the show where viewers are like Does Camille likes Emily in a romantic sense? It is all ambiguous, and that will keep Emily intrigued. Camille is her friend, and now Emily has a romantic connection with Gabriel. She does not want to hurt either of them. So, it is all very confusing, and Emily In Paris Season 2 would bring more of this love triangle drama. 

Collins says that when Emily returns for a second season, the character will be more settled in her life in Paris than she was in the first season. In the second season, she will be more of a part of the life she is living in the place. She will be a resident and will be more connected to the whole thing. She will have her feet on the ground because she will finally start making a life there. 

When Would It Hit Our Screens? 

The show has just been renewed, and it was actually filmed in Paris, and with the whole pandemic situation right now, it might get a bit difficult to do it instantly. That means that the show might get a bit delayed given the situation. Many productions have got back on the sets to get the work done, but it is yet to be known if that is happening with Emily in Paris Season 2 or not.

Gone Season 2: Created by Matt Lopez, Gone is an international police procedural crime drama that released back in 2017-2018 in various parts of the world. Ever since the first season released, fans have been looking forward to Gone Season 2.

Inspired by Chelsea Cain’s novel- One Kick, the show revolves around Kit “Kick” Lannigan, who was abducted as a child. FBI Agent Frank Novak rescues her, and later on, she herself becomes a part of the FBI agent. Upon the release, Gone has bagged 92% Rotten Tomatoes and a 7.5 IMDB rating. This is a decent review score. Now that it has been some time since the first season ended, it is time to look at what could be happening in Gone Season 2. Here is everything to know about it- 

Gone Season 2: What Could Happen Next?

The first season of Gone concluded with Kit interrogating her abductor Mel Foster. Mel revealed that he was the one who had been sending letters to Kit that she never opened. When Gone Season 2 comes back, we can expect to see Mel Foster and Kit Lannigan dealing with the letters and answer what was in the letters and why did he sent it to her. Lit might get the answers to questions like who is the head of this whole child abduction network and how many high profile people are involved. Gone Season 2 might witness Kit and the whole team going after these figures of importance. She might also be successful in rescuing more children. 

Who Will Be On The Show?

We can hope to see the entire original cast coming back to reprise their roles in Gone Season 2. That means Chris Noth will reprise his role as the FBI agent Frank Novak. He was the one who rescued Kick from her kidnappers when she was only a child. He has been able to maintain a pretty strong presence in Kick’s childhood after she came back to her family. There was a point when she, in fact, thought of him as a father figure. 

Another actor who might reprise her role is Leven Rambin, who would come back as Kit “Kick” Lannigan. She was abducted as a child and was raised by her kidnappers for five years until Frank Novak found her. After coming back to her family, she was facing difficulties in coping with this shift, so she started taking self-defense classes that would help her deal with the aggression. This is the same time Lannigan changes her name to Kick to reflect her personal growth. 

Other actors we think can reprise their roles include Danny Pino, who might come back as John Bishop, the new FBI agent who previously was in the military. By the end of the first season, fans come to know that Bishop was actually involved in Novak’s first case when he witnessed his brother being taken away when they were only six. Another one is Andy Mientus, who plays James Finley, another former victim who is now a part of Novak’s force. Last is Maya Kennedy, the FBI agent on Novak’s task force. She was with Novak when they established this new force. 

Gone Season 6: Possible Release Date

Gone is an international show which was produced by VOX in France and RTL in Germany. The show premiered in Australia on November 13, 2017, and in 2018 in France. The series aired in the U.K. in March 2018 and in the U.S. in June 2018. So, it has been approximately two years since the show was released. There have been no updates about the show ever since. The show has not been renewed, but the good news is, it hasn’t been canceled either. Given the kind of viewership and ratings the show had received, we can expect Gone Season 2. Van Helsing Season 5 is coming soon. This will be the final season of the series that fans have been waiting for about a year. Everyone has high expectations with the show, given that it has taken the time to bring in a justified closure. Inspired by Zenescope Entertainment’s novel series called Helsing, Van Helsing is a fantasy horror drama TV series with Kelly Overton as the lead character. The show debuted in 2016 and has had four successful season.

The show is set in a post-apocalyptic background where Vanessa Van Helsing is the descendant of Abraham Van Helsing. She wakes up from a coma and finds herself in the post-apocalyptic world. The story moves forward three years after an eruption of the Yellowstone Caldera that has covered the whole world in ash blocking sunlight. This has allowed the vampires to overrun the humanity.

Helsing is the only hope as her blood composition has enabled her with the ability to turn vampires into humans. With this special weapon, Vanessa becomes a target. However, she has two humans who keeps her safe in the times. These includes the doctor who save her, and a Marine. What is happening to Van Helsing Season 5? When would it release? Van Helsing Season 5: Production Completed

This comes as good news for all the Helsing fans. Showrunner Jonathan Llyod Walker, who stepped into Neil Labute’s shoes in the fourth season took onto his Twitter to confirm that Van Helsing Season 5 has completed the production, This means fans will not have to wait very long to enjoy new episodes of the show.

In the statement, Daniel March, the managing partner at Dynamic Television said that they are very proud of Van Helsing. They thanked Syfy and the fans who have loved the series. He continued to say that they are very excited to bring the show to end on its own terms. This would give the story, the characters, and all the fans the ending they deserve. Van Helsing Season 5 was renewed back in December 2019 and the fifth season will be the last season of the series.

Everyone We Will See: The Cast

Van Helsing Season 5 will bring in old as well as new cast members. Some of the new faces include Kim Coates, Ali Alieber, and Steve Bacic. Coates will come in to play Count Dalibor, Olivia’s husband. Dalibor will make some disastrous choice even after having good intentions. Ali will play Nina, a vampire with a very colourful past that has something to do with Julius and a hidden deadly agenda.

Bacic will join Van Helsing Season 5 to play the Father. He is a wild vampire who dresses in animal skins and is hidden in an abandoned mine along with a child. Announcing this news, the executive producer Michael Frislev said that they are thrilled to welcome Kim, Ali and Steve to the Van Helsing family.

Kelly Overton, the lead actress of the show was not really in the fore-front of the fourth season because of being pregnant when the season was being filmed. As a silver lining, other characters got an opportunity to get into the fore-front. These characters include Keeya King as Violet, Nicole Muñoz asJack, both of them had their own ties to the legacy. However, fans can expect to see Overton come back in full strength in Van Helsing Season 5.

When Would It Release?

The creators have always eyed 2020 for releasing Van Helsing Season 5. While everyone thought that the production will delay owing to the COVID-19 outbreak, it looks like things haven’t changed. Fantastic Beasts 3: Release Date Postponed

For some time, all Fantastic Beasts fans had thought that the franchise would follow a two-year release pattern. That meant that Fantastic Beasts 3 would have released in November 2020. Then, COVID-19 happened, and Warner Bros. pushed the production, and we know that we weren’t getting the threequel in 2020.

Earlier on, the creators had announced that the movie would release in November 2021, but now, plans have changed, and the film is all set to release in the summer of 2022. In a statement, Warner Bros announced that Fantastic Beasts will be delayed. The team also revealed that Johnny Depp, who plays the character of Gellert Grindelwald, is stepping away from the franchise.

Johnny Depp Is Out!

Johnny Depp recently lost his libel lawsuit against the British tabloid, The Sun. The tabloid had published a story calling Depp as a “wife-beater” after the domestic violence allegations pressed on him by his now ex-wife- Amber Heard. This whole controversy started back in May 2016 when only a few days after filing for the divorce, Amber Heard also requested a restraining order that alleged emotional, verbal, and physical abuse. They got divorced in 2017. Both the parties- Depp and Heard have been quite vocal about the allegations. Depp has been fervently denying all of them.

Throughout the time of Depp’s association with the Fantastic Beasts 3, Warner Bros. were getting warnings about removing Depp. Supporting him, the Harry Potter author- J.K. Rowling, in a statement said that in the given circumstances and their understanding, the film-makers and she are not comfortable with their original casting, but they are genuinely happy that Johnny is playing such an important character in the movie.

As the news surfaced, Depp posted for his fans. In the post he revealed that Warner Bros. have asked him to resign. He says that he respected that request and agreed to the request. Is It Renewed?

It has been more than a year since fans got to see The Oath. The latest season of the show, the second season released in February 2019. Ever since this release, the creators have not announced any information about The Oath Season 3. While this has put fans in a tough spot, there is a silver lining here. The Oath Season 3 has not been renewed, but it hasn’t been canceled either. Given the current situation, it is possible that maybe, the creators are taking the time and would come back with The Oath Season 3 when the situations get better. So, never say never. It is indeed possible that the show might return. 

What Could Happen In The Oath Season 3? 

The Oath follows the protagonist Cole and Steven, who leads the gang called Ravens and justify all their deeds with their need for medical expenses that they need for their mothers’ treatment. Things start getting interesting when the FBI steps in to investigate this gang and try to reach other gangs using this one. In order to expose everyone, FBI agents themselves start getting their hands dirty as they get into business with other gangs. 

By the end of the second season, things had become really interesting. The season threw some light on the secrets of these departments. The Raven’s then revealed that all they need is their family to support them. Things go south when the gang makes a big mistake after dealing with the Colombian Cartel, who was the antagonist in the second season.

Another major focus was Steve trying to get rid of the Cartel. However, things did not go as planned, and the whole gang was pushed into debt. In The Oath Season 3, the gang will have to deal with a number of challenges as they try to get rid of Columbians and DEA. 

Since the show hasn’t been renewed yet, we cannot really predict when The Oath Season 3 would release. Spirit Riding Free Season 9: Netflix’s animated show- Spirit Riding Free is coming back with its ninth season soon. The show is based on the 2002 Oscar-nominated movie- Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron. DreamWorks Animation Television act as the producers of Spirit Riding Free. The story follows a little girl as she bonds with a titular horse while making friends in a new town. All of them together make a new group and go on adventures. The show has been successful in grabbing the attention of the younger audience and indeed is a hit. When would Spirit Riding Free Season 9 release? Here is all we know- 

Who Will Come In?

Spirit Riding Free is an animated show, so we just know about voice actors in the cast. Fans might get to hear Amber Frank as he gives his voice to the protagonist of the show Fortuna “Lucky” Prescott. Bailey Gambertoglio and Sydney Park will play Lucky’s friends Abigail Stone and Pru Granger. These are the only three main characters on the show, along with their horses. The show Spirit Riding Free follows twelve-year-old Lucky, who has recently started living in a countryside town called Miradero from a city. As Lucky struggles to fit in at school, her life changes when she comes across an unlikely friend named Spirit. Lucky meets Spirit, who is a Kiger mustang. Locals catch the wild horse and take him to the town to be “broken.” Spirit, however, refuses to be broken by the locals. However, then he forms a bond with Lucky, who then frees him eventually. 

With Spirit, Lucky also makes two friends- Abigail and Pru. The two of them also have horses. Pru’s horse is Chica Linda, and Abigail’s horse is Boomerang. Together with this trio, with their horses, start their adventures. Spirit Riding Free follows these adventures as the three friends learn to deal with all new challenges and know about the world. The upcoming season will future see how these girls go on new adventures and deals with new obstacles. 

When Would It Release?

The first season of Spirit Riding Free was released in May 2017. The next season of the show released closely afterward, with the second season releasing in September 2017, followed by the third season in November 2017, the fourth season released next year in March 2018, and the fifth in May 2018. The sixth season was then released on August 17, 2018, and the seventh season premiered in November 2018. The latest and the eighth season of Spirit Riding Free Season eight was released in April 2019.

Now about Spirit Riding Free Season 9, fans could have expected to see the season sometime in late 2020. However, given the current situations, It looks like the fans might have to wait for a ninth season till at least 2021. The A List Season 2: Renewal Status

After the show finished airing the first thirteen episodes of the initial season, BBC had confirmed that they would not move ahead with The A List Season 2. They did not reveal the reason for canceling the show. However, we can assume that one of the reasons for this cancellation is the viewership ratings. It is possible that the show did not meet the viewership expectation of the creators. Also, the show did get quite mixed reviews. 

With that said, here is good news for all The A-List fans. BBC has indeed canceled the show, but that does not mean that The A List Season 2 is not happening. Soon after BBC canceled the show, Netflix had picked it up. Now, Netflix will be coming out with The A List Season 2. Co-creator Nina Metivier confirmed this news in an interview with Deadline. 

Who Would Be Coming Back?

Fans can expect to see the whole main cast of The A List to come back for the second season. The cast of the show includes a young batch of actors who come in to play teenage characters. First on the comeback list is Lisa Ambalavanar, who plays the character of Mia, a mean girl who resents her parents for sending her on this trip. Ambalavanar is popular for her role in BBC Doctors. In an interview, Ambalavanar says that she absolutely loved being on the show. It is well-written, and she loved playing a strong female character. Commenting on the cast, she says that it is diverse and represents today’s youth without stereotyping them. 

We can also expect to see Elli Duckles as Amber, the new girl in the camp. At the beginning of the show, everyone thought of her as a very nice girl, but eventually, it turns out that she isn’t as nice as one might think she is. Talking about her role, Duckles says that Amber is a baddie. There is a lot to her than what meets the eye. Amber is a bit scary, and you don’t understand why she did what she did, and all of it is very intense. 

Jacob Dudman might also be coming back as Dev, the hero in the series. In an interview, Dudman says that he initially thought that The A-List is also just like any other tv show where Dev is the male lead, but then eventually, he understood that this story is about two very strong female leads. It is important to have a narrative like that. 

When Would It Release?

Earlier reports suggested that The A List Season 2 would release sometime in August 2020, that did not happen. COVID-19 took over everything and paused all plans. So, just like all other TV shows, The A List Season 2 did not get into production. Ever since this delay, the creators have not given us any hint on when the show would come back. However, Fans can expect it to release sometime in 2021.

The A List Season 2 will deal with the fate of many other characters that were left in the first season. We will keep you posted with all the updates about the show as we get it. So you stay tuned.
