Despite the negative reviews and disappointing response, the team has expressed interest in developing a sequel. The first time when the audience received an update on it was in August 2009. Sony announced a follow-up, and so the formal statement confirmed the arrival of White Chicks 2. But due to some issues, the project was unexpectedly canceled from further development.

Again in April 2014, Marlon Wayans showed his interest in the sequel. After four years, it was confirmed that a follow-up movie was already in the works. Hence, it seemed like it would finally see the light of day, but then, it received no further updates. Over the years, co-writer and prominent cast member Marlon has repeatedly expressed his will to work on White Chicks 2. But it seems like the film’s fate is not ready to accept a second movie. Further, one of the supporting actors also teased the possibility of another film in 2019.

Terry Crews appeared on the stage of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. When asked about the sequel, he provided his official words on the development of White Chicks 2. Responding to this, Marlon Wayans took to Instagram and shared a post captioning it uniquely. He said that the information was not meant for a public announcement. In addition to this, before anyone could come up with distinct speculation, he cleared that the deal was not signed. So, White Chicks sequel is still a long way to go. Therefore, it will be safe to assume that the future of the follow-up movie is in limbo. Ever since the first film was released, the possibility of another movie is very uncertain. The truth shook Hong-joo, and she later ranted at Shi-yeol for belittling her. He tried to convince her but failed to prove his love for her. At the palace, they tied Yoo-ha, and Yoo-ha’s straightforward behavior pissed the King. They also captured Minister Shin, who was worried for Yoo-ha.

Yoo-ha was shocked to see Minister Shin and his followers in prison. While they seemed hopeless, Yoo-ha told them to wait as someone soon returned to help them. Meanwhile, San learned that after dawn, Yoo-ha would be executed. So they needed to hurry up. Before leaving, he promised Dan Oh to return to her. She had faith in him. Soon the scene shifted to San and Shi-yeol’s confession moment, where San told him not to follow him and mess things up for himself. The day came for everyone’s execution when Yoo-ha revealed that someone would come to kill King, whereas Shi-yeol managed to kill Tae-Hwa.
