Ever since its premiere on Netflix, the Kdrama Dali and Cocky Prince has created its own sweet spot in the hearts of the fans. The show received fans’ love and critical acclaim at the same time. Now, these fans are hoping for Dali and Cocky Prince Season 2.

Developed by Hong Seok-gu for KBS2, Dali and Cocky Prince is a Korean romantic comedy-drama series starring Kim Min-jae and Park Gyu-young. The show follows an unlikely love story between Jin and Dali.

Is Dali And Cocky Prince Season 2 Renewed?

The first season of the Kdrama series premiered on KBS2 on September 22, 2021. The season concluded with the last episode airing on November 11, 2021. Meanwhile, talking about the show’s future, it is very common for Kdrama to end after just one season. However, there have been exceptions to this, of course. And since the show dropped in Netflix, there has been a significant surge in its fanbase. So, there might be a chance for its renewal. The first season of the show revolves around Jin Moo Hak, who has more than enough money but does not have a lot of knowledge. In the first season, Jin and Dali crossed paths with each other, and what started as a financial agreement slowly transformed into a blooming love story. 

If there ever is a Dali and Cocky Prince Season 2, it might continue the story of Dali and Jin and how they move ahead in life. We may see them as a married couple navigating through the next phase of their life. On the other hand, the second season may focus on different characters like Cheongsong or Dondon and show what life has to offer to them. The second season may also give a look at Jang Tae Jin once again.

The cast of the Korean comedy-drama stars Kim Min-jae in the role of Jin Moo-hak, Park Gyu-young playing Kim Dali, and Kwon Yul as Jang Tae-jin. Meanwhile, the cast also includes Yeonwoo as Ahn Chak-hee, Hwang Hee playing Joo Won-tak, Jang Gwang appearing as Kim Nak-cheon. Then there is Woo Hee-jin as Song Sa-bong, Ahn Se-ha in the role of Han Byung-se, and Yoo Hyung-gwan as Hwang Gi-dong. 

In addition, we have Song Ji-won as Na Gong-joo and Lee Jae-woo as Kim Si-Hyung, among a few others in the cast. The far-right group English Flag took things personal in the first season of Trigger Point when they killed Wash’s best friend and coworker Joel Nutkins and her occasionally troubled brother Billy. The first season of Trigger Point ended with a cliffhanger note. If the show is renewed for Trigger Point Season 2, it continues the story after the events of the first season. The second season might center around a different terror attack on London. The organization named English Flags might return in the second season, or we may see a new terror group bringing troubles to London natives in the second season. 

Meanwhile, show creator Brierley has also expressed his wish for the show to delve deeper into the complex psychology of Lana Washington. He stated, “I think Lana is resilient, and she’s tough as nails, and that’s part of her charm. But can’t help but have an effect, and that was really interesting,” said Brierley. If the show gets future seasons, the showrunners want to push into that character.
