Though Animal Kingdom Season 5 got an early renewal, fans still have to wait a little longer to binge in their favorite dark crime-drama series. Currently, TNT hasn’t announced its premiere date, and as we all know, production halted in the midst. So, we could expect it somewhere in 2021. However, in an interview, Ben Robson (Craig) revealed the possible shifts in the storyline. Let’s see how his life would change after Smurf’s death and with a new member of his family.

The finale episode of the previous season left everyone in a daze when J shot his grandmother Smurf to protect his love Pope’s life. But, it’s a clear warning of the descending of Cody’s criminal empire. However, the Pope is just using J to satisfy her rage. That indeed the young boy wasn’t able to see. Since he was tired of being a second option and wanted to lead the entire empire. Now, how far his desire could lead him is a big question. Will, he became the reason for Cody’s family fall? Craig always thought that he would never bring his child the way Smurf did to him since Craig always wanted to live a simple life with Renn. Now when the couple has a baby, it’s a turning point in Craig’s life to live the way he always wanted. Even he wants to give their child a better experience, which Smurf stole from him. Presently, he’s only wanted to provide all those opportunities and a better lifestyle to his child, that he could never provide if he stays with Cody’s family.

In the last season, we noticed that Craig told Renn, not to act like a dealer when they were in the trail. It was a slight hint that Craig probably decided to give up the mafia lifestyle and get a fresh start with his family. Because he wants to turn all the wrongs in the good deeds, so he could bring his son in a safe environment. Now, this could be a turning point for Cody’s family as they already lost Smurf and now Craig.

Craig Taking Up His Responsibilities

In the previous season, Craig dealt with Renn’s mother. However, the main aim behind this was to protect Renn until he realizes what he would do next. Now, when he had a family (a child) to look for, he can’t stay in his self-destructive mode and get fooled by the others. For Craig, it’s now and never, and ultimately he realized what he wishes to do. Moreover, his goal is to get free from those fears and mafia lifestyle. He doesn’t want Renn to live in worries and got reminded of how she brought up and what she has to do. So, there’s a high chance that Craig would step up in the upcoming season and would take the lead.

Will There Be Animal Kingdom Season 6?

Many fans have been flooded the social media asking for the renewal of Animal Kingdom Season 6. Well, it’s too early to ask TNT to renew the show for its sixth installment. However, if TNT renews Animal Kingdom Season 6, then it would be a great help for writers to script down in this period. But, as per the rules, without considering the fifth season’s viewership, it won’t be very objective for TNT to renew it. As of now, TNT only disclosed updates regarding its fifth season. So, let’s wait until everything cleared up.

Animal Kingdom Season 5: Release Date

There have been many tweets on Animal Kingdom official Twitter page that reads- “Animal Kingdom Season 5 premier soon”. However, when this soon would come that nobody knows. Earlier, it was assumed to premiere this summer. But, the production halted in the midst for apparent reasons. Now, when the filming would start again, we have no clue. So, let’s hope for some good news from TNT.

Cyber researchers have discovered a new malware that targets Android devices. The malware is called EventBot by the security firm who found it, Cybereason. Once installed on your mobile phone, the application gains access to your device’s operating system. It then decrypts the passwords to online banking apps. It is also capable of intercepting the two-factor text authentication codes.

A hacker gains access to all your bank accounts, e-wallets and can rob you of your money. The app can also identify the taps and touches on your smartphone screen. It can also view notifications, from other apps on your device. 

The malware is quite advanced

Not only is the malware capable of stealing your funds, but it can also monitor whatever is happening on your device. The firm that has discovered this malware says that the developers are adding to the app regularly, making it more harmful every day. 

“The developer behind Eventbot has invested a lot of time and resources into creating the code, and the level of sophistication and capabilities is really high” – Assaf Dahan, Head Threat Research, Cybereason.

Like anti-virus software updates its database, this malware updates itself. The malware was found back in March, and since then, it keeps updating its code to remain hidden. Developers are also using highly advanced encryption technology so that the data from a user’s device reach them safely. 

What is malware? 

In simple terms, malware is software that simply damages your data or system, or gains access to confidential files without your consent. It is a term that refers to malicious software, viruses, ransomware and spyware. 

Typically, malware is capable of attaching itself to an application that seems to do normal things. It might be in an email that has popped in your inbox, or in software that you download from an unknown source, etc. Once you execute the file, by tapping on it, your device gets infected.

What not to do in such conditions?

• Avoid downloading any application or software from a third-party or unknown source. These files might be infected. 
• Always use anti-virus software by a trusted developer. Some of them are even paid but is a very nominal amount as this software are very difficult to develop. Always go for known names.
• Never click or open suspicious emails that you do not know the sender. The mails might have the malware in the form of a link. As soon as you click the link, your device will get infected.
• Do not access websites that are not secure or which do not have a security certificate. 
• Avoid saving passwords on third-party applications.

The outbreak of the Corona Virus has led to many changes in our lifestyle so far. Let us talk about ways in which our device can be disinfected.

• Use lint-free, microfiber cloths to clean the screen of your device. If required, use clean water to dampen the cloth. Mobile screens are as delicate as the glasses we wear to correct our vision. Handle them with care. Do not spill the water directly on the screen.
• Clean the screen with wipes like Clorox or Lysol. These have a perfect combination of chemicals that can disinfect your device, without causing any long term or short term damage. Let the phone dry entirely before you start using it again.
• Always clean the body of your smartphone, the back panel. People often clean their phones but forget the cover. Remove your cover while doing this. You can use the wipes for cleaning the cover as well. And then clean all the top and bottom panels of your device.
• You can apply screen guards that are anti-microbial. They prevent the growth of bacteria and germs on your screen. And keep changing them at regular intervals of time.

The recent times have been hard on the tech firm around the globe. While companies that are struggling to stand firm through the pandemic, companies like Facebook are making strategic investments. On 21^st April 2020, Facebook invested a total of $5.7 billion in Jio, the Indian bases telecom company. This would effectively give a 9.99% stake in Reliance Jio, to Facebook.

“The country is in the middle of a major digital transformation, and organisations like Jio have played a big part in getting hundreds of millions of Indian people and small businesses online,” –  Mark Zuckerberg.

The money is beneficial for Jio

This would not only help Reliance cut the debt, but would also give Facebook an upper hand in a market as vast as India. It is the most significant Foreign Direct Investment in the technological sector. Facebook says that it has done this to support Jio. Jio is a company that not only changed the way all of us use mobile internet, but also the rates at which the internet is provided in the country—being the first to come up 4g services. With more than 400 million users across the nation, Jio is one of the largest telecom companies in the world.

WhatsApp has partnered with Reliance Industries

The deal also includes a partnership between Reliance Retail and Facebook’s WhatsApp. The whole purpose is to support as many as 60 million small businesses that run with the help of WhatsApp. Reliance is willing to incorporate JioMart in the messaging application. India has more than 400 million WhatsApp users and more than 200 million Facebook users. This makes the country very important for Facebook, as far as revenue and business are concerned. The money would help Jio to invest further and offer better services.

“By bringing together JioMart, Jio’s small-business initiative, with WhatsApp, we can enable people to connect with businesses, shop and ultimately purchase products in a seamless mobile experience” – David Fischer, Chief Revenue Officer, Facebook.

In the past, we have seen Jio partner with companies like Microsoft, for providing high-speed internet and cloud storage. Before Jio came into play, Indian telecom companies were providing low-speed internet at a very high cost. The rates were very high. One had to pay 250INR for 1GB 3G data. In the very initial days, Jio provided free internet to all the users. Those made the company incur a considerable debt. Now Jio is offering data at close to 4INR for 1GB.

Being at home is not so dull when you have a PlayStation and the company is offering you free games. That is right! Sony has announced a “Plat At Home” initiative on 14^th April 2020. They are planning to do it in two parts. Firstly, they are giving free games to the PS4 fans, namely Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Journey. Secondly, the company is supporting small scale, independent game developers, by dedicating a sum of $10 million, amidst the pandemic.

Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced the initiative

One thing to note here is that, though Sony offers free games to the PlayStation Plus subscribers, you do not need to be one of them to get your hands on these two titles games. PlayStation offers one of the best gaming experiences in the world. The graphics, the controls, the gameplay are all best in class.

As we all know about the previous important leak of e3 data. The annual Electronic Entertainment Expo is still scheduled to begin in Los Angeles this June.

The captions immediate the next incarnation has been mainly about who will not attend. After the January news that Sony would not attend E3, on Wednesday it came with the confirmation of another important no-show. But it is not a game developer or publisher; instead, he is the journalist, promoter and producer Geoff Keighley.

Furthermore, Game fans are probably familiar with Keighley’s work as host of The Game Awards and several deep journalistic dives. But in the case of E3, Keighley is not just a guy who appears to watch new video games. During the last years, he has produced the E3 Coliseum series of games debuts and celebrity panels. And for more than 20 years, he has organized the independent Game Critics’ Awards, adjacent to E3, which are a great factor for members of the E3 assistant press in the West.

Some of that changes this year, according to a statement from Wednesday posted on the Keighley Twitter account. After acknowledging his 25 years of attendance at E3, Keighley confirmed that “he will not participate in E3” this year and that he “refused” to serve as producer of any E3 Coliseum-style event.

“I have debated what to say about E3 2020,” Keighley wrote. “While I want to support the developers, who will showcase their work, I also need to be open and honest with your fans, about exactly what to expect from me.”

In a separate interview with GamesIndustry.biz, Keighley also noted a leak on the E3 website. Not last year that revealed the personal information of the attending journalists. But rather a dump of unprotected data on Wednesday by the tomorrow that included a list of apparent suppliers and game creators that will be part of the E3 2020.

Keighley admits in his emails that, however, he is “working on plans” for this year’s GCA and even came to ask us at Ars Technica: “What do you think we should always do?” Let us know in the comment section what you think about it?
