Immediately after this incident, he was transported to the North Pole and asked to take Santa’s place. Soon, his life changed, and he embraced the new role, becoming the permanent Santa Claus. The film series has stretched out for three successful movies over the course of twelve years. But will there be The Santa Clause 4? Let’s find out!

The Santa Clause 4: Is It Officially Renewed?

Fans last saw The Santa Claus movie back in 2006. The franchise has seen a gap between several years before dropping the new installment. Thus, many believed it would soon return with The Santa Clause 4. However, it never happened. As of January 2024, there’s no official news regarding the franchise’s fourth movie. But we have delightful news as Scott’s actor Tim Allen has been vocal about returning with a subsequent film. For those who are unversed, the movie lately returned with the Disney+ series. It returned after 16 years, focusing on 30 years after the pilot movie.

In November 2022, Allen explained his return to the Disney series to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show. He wanted to ensure the remaining story arc could be explored in the shows. “At this time of year,” Allen continued, “it’s become (common to return with) this iconic piece.” And the only reason he returned was he wanted to do it again. He was a sci-fi freak and wanted to explore all the loopholes of the films. He said he didn’t know about the other guy when he and his kid hoped in the sleigh.

So, because of this, he wanted to return to the series to explore this loophole. Later, in November 2023, Allen discussed the possibility of The Santa Clause 4 in an interview with ComicBook.com. He revealed the movie could return to focus on the storyline left behind in The Santa Clauses Season 2. The second season finale opened the door to explore Scott’s children’s DNA. While it can focus on significant storylines, Allen discusses why they could return with the next movie.

Tim Allen Addresses Major Storylines Of The Santa Clause 4

Speaking with ComicBook.com, Allen hinted that his son could also have new abilities. The actor said he hadn’t yet realized his son Cal’s potential. He believed that he might have the same Santa-given DNA. But there’s nothing confirmed about this at this moment. Besides this, Allen reflected on Sandra’s potential story arc. He said that she would see some changes in her life. Sandra will realize she’s a human with magical abilities. She might do what the witches used to do in the past. As of now, it remained unclear where things could go, but he knew it might plan a significant storyline in The Santa Clause 4.

But Allen also stated that the story could be explored in The Santa Clauses Season 3. As per the actor, Disney+ could rather green-light the next season of its series than return with The Santa Clause 4. But again, there are no official words. So, the next installment stands uncertain. Since Eric Lloyd is returning as Scott’s older son, Charlie, the fourth movie could explore this angle. He might be older now. But Scott’s younger children, Cal and Sandra, are still in the picture, and it might create a problem for him to select who would take over the family business.

However, the profit degraded over the next two installments, with $172 million for the second part and a reasonably low profit of $110 million for the third installment. Meanwhile, the budget had also degraded through three installments.

No doubt, the first movie was a banger. However, the franchise’s gross revenue declines with the next installment. This hinders the chances of its return. Tim Allen and Disney+ could return with The Santa Clause 4 despite that. This is because they wanted to end the franchise. It would be interesting to put a bow by sending it to the big screen for the one last movie. If it happens, the movie will hit the theatre 20 years after the debut of the third film. Considering the success of the Disney+ series, the streamer could return with The Santa Clauses Season 3.

He stated that “the show has a ‘good shot'” at returning with the next run. He further mentioned that the show was a huge success on Disney+. So, it feels like the streamer might return with another season. He also hinted at some more cameos in the third season. Winer said that season 3 could focus on more cameos, including Judy the Elf.

They had finally figured out her storyline, and she might make a secret cameo. Her story would bring a fresh perspective as she might return as the proprietor of Judy’s Hot Cocoa Stand at Centopolis. He also added that they are currently looking back to the original movies to make the show more creatively explored. They wanted to create Easter eggs for the franchise’s fans. Winer also cited that they would release a proper combined soundtrack for three seasons if they could bring another season. Further, he told TVInsider that The Santa Clauses Season 3 might bring gnomes. The first season saw that the elves hate gnomes. So, the following season would get them. It would also explore the funny storyline associated with this hatred. Further, he added that gnomes hate the trolls. So, the hate story will continue in the next arc as well.

Days of Our Lives has been around for several decades now. And when a soap is on for that long, it is inevitable that many new characters will come in, while some old ones will fall off the canvas. Something that we have been witness to far many times. 2023 itself saw many such departures. Including, Megan Hathaway her son – Dimitri, and the recently deceased – Li Shin. But now, could his bereaved sister Wendy be on her way out too? Let’s find out!

Those who tuned into the previous episode of Days of Our Lives, saw Wendy bidding Tripp a heartbreaking goodbye and took off for China. Meanwhile, Tripp told her that he couldn’t leave Salem, and stayed back. But is it really the end of their story, and the last we have seen of her? Honestly, we don’t think so. For one- if Wendy leaves, it will be the end of the Shin family in Salem. Moreover, this would also leave the mystery behind Li’s death unresolved.

Oh, that is if Li is dead at all on Days of Our Lives. Because, quite honestly, we have our doubts! There was absolutely no build up to that. It just happened out of the blue. As if it was written in just to write Gabi off. Besides, there are many hush-hushes going around about Gabi being recast. So if she’s back, maybe Li can be too! Perhaps Li’s murder was actually faked. We have seen multiple people come back from ACTUAL deaths. So, this is just a piece of cake!

Is It Time For Li To Come Back and Join Wendy On Days of Our Lives?

But if Gabi has to be exonerated, and Li has to be discovered, then someone needs to do it on Days of Our Lives. Currently, Salem P.D. a.k.a. Rafe is wholly committed to the drug menace and EJ’s vendetta. So, that leaves only one person who can get personally invested in this story- Wendy Shin. Besides, some spoilers reveal that Trip is about to get a huge surprise next week. So, we are willing to bet that Wendy returns! Brady Black is one of the most loved characters on Days of Our Lives. However, his history is rather tricky on Salem’s canvas. While he is a good guy, he really has pulled some questionable stunts. Like, his past as a drug-addict keeps coming back to haunt him. Something similar is going on these days on the Peacock soap. After Holly’s OD, EJ is out for vengeance. And his entire heat is raging down on Tate, solely on the basis that his parents were drug addicts, so perhaps he is one too. Not accepting even for one minute, that the drugs really could belong to Holly.

Thus, it does not come as a surprise that Brady is taking it all on himself on Days of Our Lives. He feels Tate is bearing the brunt of his past, and that he has failed as a father. “We’re talking about Brady Black, who’s not only an addict, but has gone through the ringer,” he tells Soap Opera Digest. So it is understandable that at this specific juncture he feels he is failing as a father and letting his children down. However, this might actually bring a breakthrough in his life with the mothers of both his children.

DOOL/ Brady is dejected over failing to protect Tate

Since Brady missed his daddy-daughter date with Rachel, Kristen comes blazing in to lash at him on Days of our Lives. However, when he opens up to her about what had actually happened to Tate, she softens. Not only does she give him another chance to spend time with their daughter. She also reminds him that he is a good person. And that means a lot coming from the woman who took full custody of their daughter from him, says Eric Martsolf. Brady just breaks into Kristen’s arms after that. “Sometimes it takes tragic events to bring about some good things,” he points.

But that’s not all, he also these scenes coming up that will help him bond with Theresa too, on Days of Our Lives. Brady and Theresa go to meet Tate at Statesville. They find him beaten up and with a black eye. Expectedly, they are shocked and heartbroken. But there is really nothing they can do. Especially, with EJ as the D.A., wanting nothing but blood. So Eric tries to talk to Nicole, but she asks him to leave. Obviously, she does not want to believe that her daughter is in the wrong here. “They are at an impasse,” Eric shrugs. He wants to believe his son is right, and Nicole wants to believe that her daughter is.

Amid the whole mess, Alex fires Justin as Tate’s attorney on Days of Our Lives. This infuriated Brady even more. He feels that it is not Alex’s place to take these decision. Thus, he and Theresa have a face-off, both piling blame on each other. However, eventually, they get past their conflict. After all, their son is more important that anything else. Girlfriend, Girlfriend has received critical acclaim based on its performance and animation, and now the audience is clamoring for more. Will there be Girlfriend, Girlfriend Season 3? Well, the anime has just wrapped up in late 2023. But its cliffhanger ending hints at a potential return of Shino. The character has remained in the shadow for quite a long time, and now she has received the limelight, hinting at more romance and ecchi content in the next season. Will the series return with more romance? Let’s see!

Based on Hiroyuki’s manga series Girlfriend, Girlfriend is a romantic comedy anime that debuted back in 2021. It follows the life of a high schooler, Naoya Mukai, who started dating his childhood friend Saki Saki. Naoya’s other classmate, Nagisa Minase, confessed her feelings when they entered into a relationship. Initially, he rejected her, but later, they entered a relationship. However, things soon become complicated, and the trio decides to live together while dealing with several challenges in their non-monogamous relationship.

Girlfriend, Girlfriend Season 3: Is It Renewed?

SynergySP’s Girlfriend, Girlfriend, has recently wrapped up its second season with a bang. Although the first season didn’t receive much appreciation, the second has just turned the table in the studio’s favor. Since the show was renewed for the second season, even though it didn’t receive much acclaim, fans believe the anime will soon return for Girlfriend, Girlfriend Season 3. However, the studio behind the anime hasn’t yet confirmed this news. The series just wrapped up airing in late December 2023. Thus, it’s quite early to return with another season.

Besides this, the second season also received positive acclaim from the fans. It earned a solid 6.6 stars out of 10 on IMDb. Meanwhile, it gained 6.5 stars on MyAnimeList. Considering the series’ performance on such platforms, it seems like the studio will soon return with Girlfriend, Girlfriend Season 3. However, nothing has been confirmed at this moment. Typically, the studio takes a few months to make an announcement based on its reception. But if the second season got renewed despite its poor performance, the chances are high that the next season might return soon.

But It May Take Longer To Return

As we said earlier, neither SynergySP nor the official anime page has confirmed Girlfriend, Girlfriend Season 3 news. Many believe the studio might soon make an announcement. But there’s a catch! Tezuka Productions produced the first season, and later, SynergySP took over to animate the sophomore run. Thus, whether the studio will return to make the third season remains unclear. Well, there’s a debut going on other social media platforms. While some believe the latter studio will return to produce the following season, others think a new studio house will take over this time.

So, the anime stands uncertain at this moment. Hence, guessing whether the anime return with the next season becomes more complicated. Things are pretty complex. But the animation work enhanced a lot in the second season. This is the reason why the show has gained critical acclaim compared to its pilot season. Based on this, many think SynergySP might return to produce more seasons. However, Girlfriend, Girlfriend Season 3 is currently unannounced. But can it return? If it does, it might take a longer time.

This is because SynergySP is currently busy with other projects. It is currently producing Mr. Villan’s Day Off and Salad Bowl Of Eccentrics. Both the animes are scheduled to return in Winter 2024 and Spring 2024. Considering their release time, it seems the studio will need more time to return to produce Girlfriend, Girlfriend Season 3. This also makes fans wonder whether the studio will produce the third season. There’s a chance that another studio house may show up to produce the following season of the series.

Is There Enough Source Material?

Typically, animes are based on light novels or manga series. Just like any other anime, Girlfriend, Girlfriend is also based on Hiroyuki’s manga series. It started serialization in March 2020 in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine and ended in May 2023. The manga series has sixteen tankobon volumes. So far, the anime series has been adapted till Chapter 91, wrapping up the Okinawa Trip arc. Since it has covered till Volume 10, there’s enough source material left to explore in Girlfriend, Girlfriend Season 3. Thus, considering the abundance of source material, it seems like the studio will soon return with another season.

But again, there’s a slight catch! Since the manga has ended with 144 chapters, there are now only 53 chapters left to explore. It might not be enough to cover in more seasons. The chapters can be adapted into 12 episodes, marking Girlfriend, Girlfriend Season 3 as the final season of the anime series. However, unfortunately, Steve Burton just made the shocking announcement of exiting DOOL after a year-long stint.

Daily Drama posted a video on YouTube featuring soap icon – Steve Burton. The actor announced in the video that he had wrapped up his final scenes for his exit from Days of Our Lives. Speaking about his experience on DOOL, Steve only had great things to say. He thanked his fans for appreciating his character on the Peacock soap. Furthermore, he thanked the cast and crew of the soap, saying that it was an incredible experience on the sets. The actor mused that he couldn’t believe it had been a year already! Well, when time flies by fast, you know it has been a fun ride!
