Creator John Hoffman recently revealed they would dig deeper into the roots of the Arconia in Only Murders In The Building Season 2. Created by John Hoffman and Steve Martin, the series follows three strangers who share the same obsession for the true-crime podcast. However, after learning about a murder near the Upper West Side of their building, they decided to cover the investigation in their podcast. But they never imagined that it could cause them to trouble a lot.

Only Murders In The Building Season 2: Is It Renewed?

Hulu renewed Only Murders In The Building for the second season way before the first season could wrap up airing. Craig Erwich, president of ABC Entertainment and Hulu Originals announced in September that the series will return for season 2. Craig stated that the show reflects creative excellence that is the signature of Hulu Originals. He added that Steve Martin, Dan Fogelman, and John Hoffman have created an exceptionally captivating and entertaining show.

Craig continued that the audience’s response to this perfect blend of humor, emotion, and mystery in the show has been outstanding. And they can’t wait to see the trio back on the next season. Even Karey Burke, president of 20th Television said, “we are happy to say” more and more murders will occur in the building. Although it’s great news for fans, the resident of the Arconia needs to stay vigilant.

Shortly after the renewal news, the show’s official account shared a short video on Twitter. The video confirmed the series renewal for its sophomore run. “Well, it looks like we’ll be dealing with this trio for another season. I’m sure more of you are thrilled,” it captions. Further, the short video clip features several cast members expressing their joy in different forms of excitement and shock. In the end, the clip highlights “the show’s returning for season 2.”

What Will Happen Next?

In the first season finale, Tim Kono’s killer was finally exposed. The killer was none other than his former lover Jan. But in the finale, Oliver and Charles receive a message from an unknown number. “Get out of the building now!” it reads. Instead, they rushed downstairs to help Mabel and found her covered in blood. But she exclaimed that it’s not what they think. Before her, a person was lying in a tie-dye hoodie, and later it is revealed that the murder victim is none other than coop president Bunny.

Seconds later, the SWAT team arrives, and Detective Williams tells them to stay quiet. Well, it hints that they have been framed for a murder which they hadn’t done. But who did that, and why were there knitting needles in the crime spot? Further, it remains unclear what Bunny was doing in Mabel’s apartment. However, the series creator promised that they would answer every question in the next run.

Will Maya And Oscar Come Together?

While the couple has a problematic relationship, yet the audience wants more from them on the romantic front. Speaking on which John Hoffman thinks that they are in a complicated relationship. But it’s pretty exciting to see where their relationship will go. He continued that they have specific dreams they want to share with each other. But before that, they need to recognize who they are together while focusing on their work.

The Trio Will Revisit The Past

Now the trio is on trial. And they need to reckon with their relationship with Bunny. Well, in the end, Mabel said some harsh things about Bunny outside the Arconia. Oliver had a long conflict with her, and Charles deeply offended Bunny for evicting him 30 years ago. Now they have to contemplate and connect the dots as they respectively have a history. When Deadline asked whether the Arconia is haunted or not, Hoffman stated it does have its secrets. The CW has recently unveiled the new trailer of The Flash Season 8, which talks only about the “Armageddon” crossover event. A new threat surfaces, which draws Barry and others’ attention. But to defeat it, Barry and the rest of Team Flash need to team up again. Well, the trailer also shows some familiar faces who will join hands with Barry to fight back with the looming threat. As previously unveiled, “Armageddon” will appear in the first five episodes of season 8.

But the trailer hints that Despero arrived to cause havoc on Earth. Now Barry and his team only have seven days to stop him. Unbeknownst to Despero’s plans, Team Flash will need to join hands across Arrowverse time and space to stop him. However, the trailer doesn’t shed much light on what’s coming for Armageddon. Yet it teased that Despero has planned to trigger almost 100 earthquakes creating a catastrophic event- a fitting description for a crossover event.

More Baddies To Come

Well, Despero won’t be the only one who will play his cards in creating chaos for Team Flash. With Neal McDonough (Damien Darhk) and Tom Cavanagh (Eobard Thawne/Reserve-Flash) surfacing for a scuffle, things are becoming more daunting for Barry. We can also see Cavanagh at the end of the trailer. But it remains unclear if the scene takes place in the present-day or back when he’s peacefully living his life as Harrison Wells. Well, who knows at this point. But it actually felt that it was Harrison who was revived in the seventh season.

The Flash Season 8: Who Will Be In The Cast?

Of course, Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash will return with Candice Patton as Iris West-Allen. Further, the recent trailer hints that Brandon Routh will return as Ray Palmer/The Atom. Well, in Routh’s case, it’s the first time that he will arrive on The Flash in a non-multi-show crossover, also reprising as Ray Palmer after departing in Legends Of Tomorrow Season 5. Other star cast includes Ray Donovan as Tony Curran/Despero. Meanwhile, Arrowverse allies include Cress Williams as Jefferson Williams/Black Lightning and Javicia Leslie as Ryan Wilder/Batwoman.

Well, in Black Lightning and Mia’s case, it will be their first time reprising their role after Black Lighting and Arrow ended. On the other hand, Ryan Choi didn’t appear since “Crisis on Infinite Earth” concluded. While in Ryan Wilder’s case, it will be her first time appearing at any Arrowverse crossover. Death In Paradise Season 11: Production Status

The filming for Death In Paradise Season 11 began on June 8, 2021. The network also announced the start of the filming through a Twitter post. The tweet also introduced a new recruit at the Saint Marie Police Force. The series is being filmed in Guadeloupe and is set in the fictional Caribbean Island of Saint Marie. Further, the production is expected to end by the end of 2021.

Unfortunately, the recent rating of the show as per TV Series Finale has dropped 46% percent this season. The fall in rating is a significant blow to the show’s reputation. But, the producer, Dan Paulson, expressed his desire for season 6 in a recent tweet. Dan thanked the loyal viewers for the support and said that he is looking forward to Chesapeake Shores Season 6. Thus, fans can expect to see a renewal soon.

Who Will Be In The Cast Next Season?

If Hallmark renews the show for season 6, Jesse Metcalfe as Trace Riley and Meghan Ory as Abby O’Brien are expected to return. Further, Barbara Niven, Laci J. Mailey, Emilie Ullerup, Brendan Penny, Andrew Francis, Daine Ladd, and Treat William are also expected to join the cast. Further, we will also see the return of Robert Buckley as Evan Kincaid, Abby’s new love interest in season 6. Some recurring stars will also feature in the next run if the show gets renewal.

Chesapeake Shores Season 6: When Will The Series Return?

Hallmark is yet to announce the sixth installment of the series. And the renewal is expected to come in the upcoming months. The series has released all its seasons in October.
