Disney Plus has kept its fans jubilant by expanding the Monsters, Inc. franchise, this time in the show’s format. However, after the first season wrapped up, fans have been keenly waiting to learn about the future of Monsters At Work Season 2. Disney Pixar has recently created shows centered on movie characters, including Loki from MCU, The Mandalorian from Star Wars universe, and more. However, for decades, movies have been using similar scenarios with the characters of Monsters, Inc.

But for the first time, it returns with its original show, Monsters At Work. It takes place after Henry J. Waternoose III gets arrested. Meanwhile, Mike and Sulley try to run the company in the middle of the company’s chaos. In the middle of this, a Monsters University graduate, Tylor, joins the company as a mechanic and dreams to work with his idols. Monsters At Work Season 2: Is It Renewed Yet?

The final episode of the first season has just wrapped up airing yesterday. Thus it is too early to presume whether Disney could return with the next run. Moreover, despite the show is set in the same universe as the movies Monsters, Inc. and Monsters University, it earned mixed reviews. The first season garnered only 65% on Rotten Tomatoes and 7.1 on IMDb. As per the critics’ reviews, the show doesn’t capture the magic of its original film.

However, Disney has yet to release an official statement regarding the future of the show. Well, Disney will decide the fate of the series based on the viewership it received. Recently, at Disney Careers, the official job portal of Disney, some job vacancies are posted that hints season 2 might return. The site started posting vacancies in April 2021 exclusively for Monsters At Work via the Disney Television Animation Department. Meanwhile, the most recent posting went live in mid-July. The job titles include Character Design Lead, Color Designer, and Storyboard Revisionist. So, we consider it as a good sign that Monster At Work Season 2 would return.

What Could Happen If It Returns?

In the prior season, Tylor, a Scare Major graduate, joins Monsters, Inc. However, he struggles to fulfill his job requirement as the company’s evolution to use the laugh powder made his talent useless. But his desire to work with his idols, Sulley and Mike, lead him to join jokester classes. Finally, in the finale, he has promoted to the Laugh Floor. Even his transition helped Monsters, Inc. prove that the laugh powder is a viable energy source.

Since it explores the epilogue of Monsters, Inc., we can expect that the second season will take the show at a whole different level. Well, Disney has already been looking for new talents who could craft a brand new story. Further, with Tylor has now promoted to the Laugh Floor, he might face some different challenges. Asa Butterfield (Otis) also confirmed in an interview that the third season will not begin from the cliffhanger ending of the time jump and will also feature a time jump. Netflix also released some first-look images of Sex Education Season 3 in which he is sporting a mustache look. Asa himself confirmed that it would not last the entire season, and eventually, Otis would return to his tragically awkward self. 

Who Will Appear In It? 

The forthcoming installment of this comedy-drama will come along with some new faces—the first one of Moordale’s new headteacher Hope. Jemima Kirke will portray this character on screens. Dua Saleh also joined the cast as Cal. She is a student of Moordale who will clash with the new headmistress Hope. Last but not least, Jason Isaacs will also join the cast of Sex Education Season 3. He will appear as Peter Groff.

Peter is Mr. Groff’s older who is more successful and less modest. All the other core cast members of the series, including Asa Butterfield, Emma Mackey, Gillian Anderson, Aimee Lou Wood, and many more, will reprise their respective roles for the upcoming installment.

Recently, Yellowstone released a brief teaser on Instagram teasing the return of John Dutton’s famous sinister foes. It features a strange character that is sent to a watery grave. It opened up with an overhead shot somewhere from the bank of the river before the current carried the white hat followed by someone’s blood while the tagline says: Every, Body, Pays! Meanwhile, Yellowstone’s official page captioned it “The calm before the storm.”

Soon after the trailer dropped, many fans speculated that the hat could belong to the second season’s adversary Malcolm Beck. Well, the Beck brothers were interested in the Dutton’s ranch, and they attempted to get their hands on it. However, in the second season finale, John shot him multiple times before the camera rolled off. Many believe that Malcolm could return from his grave for the one last strike against the Duttons.

Is Malcolm Alive?

Well, nobody saw Malcolm taking his last breath in the second season’s finale. Thus it raised the bar high that he’s still alive. Further, his absence in the last season hints at his healing phase, which took longer than expected. So perhaps Malcolm is the one who attacked the Dutton’s at the end of the last season. But it seems he couldn’t stay alive longer. As the teaser hints, after Duttons find out who is behind all this menace, they would hunt and slay that person.

Opening Hints At Shady Businessman’s Return

While many fans seem busy speculating about the return of Malcolm, some of them find the opening sound suspicious. It opens up with the casting of the fishing rod sound that seems a bit similar to the shady businessman Roarke Morris who appeared fishing on the ranch and even displease John’s daughter Beth.

Despite the constant warning he received, Roarke didn’t seem to take his steps back. However, as of now, they don’t have enough evidence against Roarke. But Josh Holloway‘s currently featuring in the new show hints that his character might meet with demise.

But the third season’s fatal car accident left Harry dismayed with its connection with some complex cases.

The Sinner Season 4: New Trailer Hints At What Could Happen Next

Recently, the show released another trailer delving closer to the new mystery Harry would deal with now. As the trailer opened up, it focuses on the mysterious disappearance of the daughter of a prominent island family, Percy Muldoon. While the cops, including her family, believe that her death is a tragedy, Harry smells something suspicious. When the cops said her death is due to excessive medication and drugs, Harry firmly upholds his point that he saw her at the edge of the cliff.

The Sinner Season 4: New Faces Join The Cast

Well, it won’t be The Sinner without Bill Pullman. So, of course, he will return as Harry Ambrose. Season 4 will explore new characters’ story including Alice Kremelberg as Percy Muldoon and Michael Mosley as Colin Muldoon. In addition, Cindy Cheung as Stephanie Lam, Ronin Wong as Mike Lam, and Neal Huff as Sean Muldoon will also join. David Huynh will join in a recurring role as C.J. Lam. Mindhunter Season 3: Renewal Status!

On January 15, 2020, Netflix officially put the third season of this crime drama on hold. They didn’t cancel it. They just released the cast and crew from their contracts. Netflix made this decision because at that time, one of the show’s executive producers, David Fincher, was focused on directing his first film, Mank. He was also serving as the producer of Love, Deaths, and Robots Season 2.

The streaming giant also stated that David Fincher might revisit the series in the future for Mindhunter Season 3. However, in the meantime, it wasn’t fair for them to hold the actors while the makers were exploring new projects. As a result, the series is facing a hiatus for the past five years. Although there is a possibility that its renewal status might change in the near future. But at present, the show is still “on hold.”

Back then, David Fincher and Netflix only made contact regarding Mindhunter Season 3, and the show already began to make headlines. However, most of them already showed their interest in working in Mindhunter Season 3, as it was one of the best shows of their careers. One of the show’s leading actresses, McCallany, admitted that the actors prepared themselves for five seasons. She stated, “We did have a bible, a five-season bible, that existed when we started rehearsals for the first season.”
