Issa Rae’s critically acclaimed dark comedy series is all set to return for its final run to provide closure to Issa Dee‘s story. HBO recently released a new teaser for Insecure Season 5, which also revealed the premiere date of the final installment. The fans are desperate to see the new season ever since they watched the cliffhanger finale of the previous one. So, when will this show return for its fifth run? Here are all the latest details.

Insecure is an American dark comedy-drama TV series. Larry Wilmore and Issa Rae created this show for HBO. It is a partial adaptation of Rae’s another critically acclaimed series Awkward Black Girl. The first season of HBO came to HBO on October 9, 2016. The network has released four installments so far, and gave the green light to its fifth and final season, which is set to premiere later this year.

In the fifth season of the series, Issa will reflect on things that have happened with her so far. The trailer is also hinting at the same. Mike Prince, a new rival, enters Axe’s radar, but to get rid of him, Axe sends Wags on a mission to dig up dirt on Prince. But to their surprise, they discover something which could wreck Prince’s confidence. Well, it doesn’t seem like Axe is alone who’s trying to find more about their rivals.

On the other hand, Prince might discover something that can pull the ground from under Axe’s feet. Meanwhile, Chuck seems worried about his father’s health. So he would try to find some alternative method to save his father. First, however, he should reconsider his past mistakes as they might threaten to divert him from his primary goal. Meanwhile, Cap puts Tanner and Wendy at odds.

The War Is Begin!

Chuck doesn’t seem to stay at rest when Prince wants to put down Axe at any cost. However, Axe is already one step ahead to show them they are trying to mess with the wrong guy. The newly revealed pictures focus on Homelander’s influence on people. As the crowd seems to gather for a rally or protest. Once again, Antony Starr appears in his Homelander costume attached to thin wires to pretend flying. Well, it remains unclear whether he is preparing to take off or just arrived at the location. Nevertheless, the supporters seem to protest for the safety of Americans. As the signs read “American Safety First” and “Keep America Safe.”

The same situation occurred earlier in The Boys in an event put on by Vought International. However, it won’t be the case here. The recent Seven On 7 video teased Vought could abandon Homelander for his past actions. So perhaps the civilians have gathered to support him. But, the signs they are carrying hint that the third season would focus more on political and social issues such as nationalism and immigration.

The Boys Season 3: Who Could Be In The Cast?

The series hasn’t yet released an official statement. But it’s safe to say that those who made it in the finale would return. Karl Urban as Billy Butcher will return with Jack Quaid as Hughie. Tomer Capon as Frenchie, Karen Fukuhara as Kimiko, and Laz Alonso as Mother’s Milk will join too.

Besides, the Supes who survived in the finale will also return. These include Antony Starr as Homelander and Dominique McElligott as Queen Maeve. Erin Moriarty as Starlight, Jessie T. Usher as A-Train, Chance Crawford as The Deep, and Nathan Mitchell as Black Noir will also return.

Apart from them, Vought has brought five new Supes onboard. These include Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy, Laurie Holden as Crimson Countess, and Miles Gaston Villanueva as Supersonic. Sean Patrick Flannery as Gunpowder and Nick Weschler as Blue Hawk will also join. We can also expect to see Giancarlo Esposito as Vought CEO Stan Edgar in multiple episodes. Supe-congresswoman Victoria Neuman (played by Claudia Doumit) will also return to a prominent role. But, Aya Cash’s Stormfront fate remains in limbo.

The Boys Season 3: What Will Happen Next?

Amazon has launched a digital series called “Seven On 7” to bridge the gap between the two seasons. The first episode aired on July 7, which focused on Homelander’s disappearance. Well, the finale battle hints that he would experience some tough times. Meanwhile, Hughie’s new job might bring trouble to The Boys. But it seems he’s unaware of his boss Victoria Neuman’s motive.

In an interview, Eric Kripke said that season 3 would explore Neuman’s motive. She’s a corrupt politician who aims to run for presidentship. On the other hand, the return of Supersonic could affect Starlight and Hughie’s relationship. In the recent episode, the fans outcry to see Starlight with her ex Supersonic. But it remains unclear whether it could happen. The star also teased that season 3 will be gruesome than ever.

The Boys Season 3: Release Date!

As of now, Amazon has yet to announce a tentative date for the third run. But, the streamer has ordered only seven episodes of its spinoff series Seven On 7. The latest trailer of Rick And Morty Season 5 Episode 9, titled “Forgetting Sarick Mortshall,” and Episode 10 titled “Rickmurai Jack,” teases that Morty would find himself in a challenging situation. In the first trailer, we saw Morty returning from a solo quest and discovered Rick had marked the fuel canister of Portal Gun. But to save him from another trouble, Morty refilled it with lime soda which somewhat spread on his palm too that later cause a massive mess in Rick’s garage.

It indeed turns out as a vast conflict where Morty dares Rick to replace him. But to his surprise, Rick quickly spins his “Wheel Of Better Things Than Morty,” which swiftly lands on two crows. At first, it seemed Rick is mocking over this. However, in the new trailer, Rick started training two crows to become his new sidekicks. So perhaps Rick is only trying to show Morty his cruel side so he can save his grandson from the looming trouble. Or probably this is how Rick works.

Rick Goes On A Quest With His Crows

While Morty sulks at Rick’s decision, Rick goes on a new adventure with his two sidekicks and apparently ended on an alien planet ruled by highly developed cyborg crows. However, Rick shortly melds with them perhaps because of his experience dealing with his close friend Birdperson’s problem as well as his knowledge of training these two crows.

Rick later returns in a crow spaceship to Earth and finds Morty injured and bloody. But despite finding out what happened with Morty in the meantime, Rick doesn’t seem to care much about Morty. In fact, he started taking his stuff from his garage one by one as he’s now moving out, and it seems he’s shifting permanently to live on Crow Planet. Unfortunately, the morose Morty can only watch Rick leaving him without saying a single word.

Morty Tries To Clean Rick’s Mess

Soon after its first trailer, Adult Swim unveiled another brief trailer that hints at Morty’s solo quest. As we can see in the trailer, Morty travels to a planet where he sliced a rogue cookie who is trying to kill the cookie president. However, it appeared that Rick’s behind the mess. Meanwhile, Morty cleared the task from his “Long List” and soon traveled to another place to solve everything. However, it remains unclear what Morty is up to and where exactly he wanted to go.

Recently, the network released a live-action trailer of Rick and Morty. It stars Christopher Lloyd as the ruthless genius scientist Rick and Jaeden Martell as his shy grandson Morty. The trailer seemed to appear in an alternate universe. There Lloyd and Martell return from their adventure and discovered something indifferent in a real-life replica of Rick’s garage. Well, Lloyd has once said that he wanted to be a part of the show. So perhaps we could see him in some capacity in the finale.
