Back in 2019, Netflix surprised its fans by announcing that Grace And Frankie will return with the seventh and the final season. However, the streaming giant has recently come up with another surprising news that the hit comedy series is available to stream now. Netflix said in a statement that it’d been almost a year and a half and all they could do is bring Grace and Frankie duo into their lives now.

Soon, stars Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda announced yesterday in a hilarious video that the first four episodes are now available to stream on Netflix. However, it’s not the end as they have plenty more stories to tell. As Fonda added, there is plenty more left to explore in the seventh season. However, the rest of the twelve episodes will air in 2022. Till then, you can binge-watching the special episodes.

Grace And Frankie Season 7: When Will Production Wrap Up?

As of now, the filming is yet to conclude. The production on the final run began as soon as the sixth season dropped on Netflix. Filming, in fact, started on January 27, 2020, but the surge of the COVID-19 halted their plans. Soon in April 2020, the star cast returned for the table read to support Meal on Wheels. Since then, they hadn’t released any news regarding the production.

But fortunately, Jane’s blog teased that filming resumed on June 21, 2021, in Los Angeles, California. However, it will most likely wrap by the end of October 2021. Moreover, the last season will be the extended season of the series. Well, the past seasons have had 13 episodes, but it isn’t the case with the seventh run. As Netflix has already confirmed, season 7 will have 16 episodes making Grace And Frankie the longest series on the platform with a total episode count of 94.

Grace And Frankie Season 7: Who Will Be In The Cast?

No doubt, the titular characters will return for the last time. Jane Fonda as Grace Hanson and Lily Tomlin as Frances “Frankie” Bergstein will return. Besides them, their on-screen ex-husbands will also return. These include Martin Sheen as Robert Hanson and Sam Waterston as Sol Bergstein. In addition, Brooklyn Decker as Mallory Hanson, Ethan Embry as Coyote Bergstein, June Diane Raphael as Brianna Hanson, and Baron Vaugh as Bud Bergstein will also return.

Dolly Parton Will Join The Team

The rumors of starring Dolly Parton in the show have never come to life. But back in February 2021, in an interview, Dolly revealed that her hectic schedule during working with the show. What We Do in the Shadows is an American horror comedy mockumentary TV series. Jemaine Clement created the show for FX. It is an adaptation of a film of the same name. What We Do in the Shadows Season 3: Episode Titles Out

FX recently revealed the titles of the first three episodes of the mockumentary series’ third installment. The title of What We Do in the Shadows Season 3 Episodes 1, 2 & 3 are ‘The Prisoner,’ ‘The Cloak of Duplication,’ and ‘Gail’ respectively. Although these titles are not giving out any significant details about the plot of these episodes.

The first one might be related to Nandor, Laszlo, Nadja, and Colin Robinson, as they were sentenced to death before Guillermo saved them. The premiere episode will kick off with Nandor and others expressing their reactions to Guillermo’s vampire-slaying skills. Also, the teaser of the third season hinted that the infamous witch hat would return in the third season. The chances are great that it might happen in these initial episodes as well. 

What Will Happen Next? 

In the ending moments of the previous season, the viewers saw Guillermo killing all the members of the Vampire Council and the immortal guests to save his masters. Now, the third season will likely feature Vampire Council hunting for every single one of them to take their revenge. Back in February, showrunner Paul Simms talked with Deadline. In the interview, he teased some details about What We Do in the Shadows Season 3 as well. 

He said, “Well, without revealing too much. Yes, obviously, the second season concluded with not only Guillermo killing a lot of important vampires, but the vampires he exists with. Our main characters now, understanding that he’s already a secluded vampire slayer, and now they know about it, and yeah, we pick up very directly.” Simms also teased that the household will get a hellhound to defend it. It is indicating that the return of the Vampire Council is inevitable, and they will come again and knock on their door sooner or later.

Soon after its cancelation, the series star Jason Issacs cited that it feels awful when a good show ends before its typical choice. Even at one point, the devoted fans asked Hillary Duff to watch the show when she tweeted, “What show should we watch?”

Many fans soon find it safe to promote their campaign #SaveTheOA in the hope that the streamer would pick it for the next run. Well, it shows the series has greatly influenced the viewers. Although Netflix has rescued several shows, it doesn’t feel like it would be the case with The OA. Since the streamer has canceled several popular series this year despite their strong viewership.

The Star Believes It Could Run More

Back in 2019, Jason said in an interview that they believed the series could run up to season 5. He said they have already mapped out how things would shift after season 2’s cliffhanger finale. At first, he thought the second season finale marked the show’s ending. However, the creators later explained where season 3 was going to be. There is so much to explore, yet it feels unbearable when they get the opportunity to do it.

Will It Return In Movie Format?

Unfortunately, unlike Sense8, which got a chance to conclude the show through a 2-hour movie, Netflix won’t do the same with The OA. As per the reports, the series creator Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij weren’t interested in wrapping up the series finale in a short film. Well, the series has a lot to share, and the movie wouldn’t grant them the apt time to wrap any story arcs the way they wanted. However, the film could be a great way to conclude everything.

Despite Netflix being mum, the creators never missed any chance to tease real-life puzzles, which made the fans believed that show is still in the cards. Zal shared the “Q Symphony” game to hype the fans’ expectations. Then, the creators shared a storm imaginary and captioned it in the show’s language. Soon after this post, Zal’s cryptic Instagram posts caught many fans’ eyes. One hinted that perhaps the colored tiles teased when The OA could return. As per the theory, the letters correlate to the colors: yellow cyan, white tiles with letter f, and magenta means YCFM, You come find me? Is it? But the creators didn’t officially confirm anything yet.

Despite Harley Quinn’s original streaming home scrapped off DC yet confirmed that Harley Quinn Season 3 would return to continue her misadventures. Based on Bruce Timm and Paul Dini’s DC comic character of the same name, it follows Harley exploring her life without Joker.

His statement reads, “Scripts written, heading into production very soon, in good shape, very much desirable to the characters in the world that we created and the Grishaverse that was shown on-screen in Season 1. But growing out from there. Eric Heisserer still at the lead as creator, showrunner and getting kind of seriously close to heading into production.”

What Will Happen Next? 

In the final episode of the debut season, General Kirigan expanded Fold. Alina learned that the Darkling is using her, but in the end, she successfully managed to beat him in the epic showdown. Alina left the place with Mal assuming that Darkling is dead. However, the cliffhanger ending revealed something else. 

Now, in Shadow And Bone Season 2, Alina will try to get a hold of her powers, especially Morozova’s magical stag amplified it. Black Mirror Season 6: Is It Still On The Cards?

The previous chapter dropped in early July 2019. However, we haven’t heard anything regarding the sixth season since then. So it’s entirely possible that the fifth season could mark the end of this series. But Netflix hasn’t yet officially scrapped the show. So probably the series could return with more seasons.

But when remains the big question here. Well, the creator Charlie Brooker told Radio Times in May 2020 that at that moment, he doesn’t want to write stories about societies falling apart. Further, he wants to revisit his comic skill when so much devastation is going around.

Charlie May Not Return For The Season

Charlie and the showrunner Annabel Jones declared in January 2020 that both were leaving the production company, Endemol Shine group. But the production company still holds the rights to the show. However, after their departure, both Charlie and Annabel created a new production house named Broke and Bones. And it will continue producing other projects on Netflix. But as Endemol still holds Black Mirror’s rights, Annabel and Charlie may not create more episodes. So is that why Charlie doesn’t want to write on the future stories?

Season 6 Could Return In Different Model

But on the bright side, Banijay Group acquired Endemol back in 2019. The production house head Cathy Payne told Variety that the sixth season would likely happen. But only if Netflix and Banijay could sign a deal by the end of 2021. However, the sixth season could return in a different format, Cathy said back in September 2020. As of now, they are exploring some other options for the next run.

Black Mirror Season 6: When Could It Return?

Initially, it was speculated that Black Mirror Season 6 could return in June 2021. But unfortunately, that wasn’t the case, as Cathy and Netflix haven’t come to a conclusion yet. Thus the future of the series remains up in the air. However, if Netflix revives the series, then chances are more that the sixth season could return sometime in late 2022.

Well, seasons 3 and 4 had six episodes, while season 5 consists of three episodes. Thus we can expect that Black Mirror Season 6 could have fresh episodes between 3-6. Perhaps it could also return in a movie format like Bandersnatch.

Despite its early renewal Hanna Season 3 couldn’t return this year. However, recently the news came off that teased production on Hanna Season 3 has already wrapped up. Based on David Farr and Seth Lochhead’s 2011 film, Hanna follows a young woman having a super-soldier ability. Her mother was recruited for a CIA program to enhance the children’s DNA to make super-soldiers for the country.

Amazon renewed Hanna Season 3 just ten days after season 2 hit the streaming platform. On which, co-writer and executive producer David Farr said that he’s absolutely thrilled to return with a third season. When he started writing Hanna, he added that he decided to write her journey, dig her past, and challenge her in entirely different ways that could answer whether she ever belongs to this world. David added that he’s grateful to NBCU and Amazon for allowing him to continue his vision.

Meanwhile, Vernon Sanders, co-head of television at Amazon Studios, stated that David continues to bring action-packed stories with a twist that left fans on the edge of their seat. Vernon added that they are excited to team up with NBCUniversal to bring their customers to a new world of Hanna. While Jeff Wachtel, NBCUniversal International Studios President, thanked both the EPs David and Tom Coan for delivering two smashing seasons.

Hanna Season 3: Has Filming Begun Yet?

Although Amazon renewed the show in mid-2020, the pandemic eventually halted its production. However, the bright news here is filming began in February 2021, and they have already wrapped up some scenes in Prague, Czech Republic. As per The Prague Reporter, a local production company Film United filmed the entire scenes of Hanna in Czech. But it remains unclear whether the filming has wrapped up yet.

Hanna Season 3: Who Will Be In The Cast?

Of course, Esmé Creed-Miles as the titular character Hanna will return with Mireille Enos as Marissa Wiegler. However, many characters’ fate remains in limbo after the final events. But, it’s safe to bet that some of the characters have safely made it to the third run. These include Dermot Mulroney as John Carmichael, Cherrelle Skeete as Terri Miller, and Rose Daly as Sandy Phillips/Girl 242.

Hanna Season 3: What To Expect From The Next Run?

In the finale, Hanna reached Barcelona to rescue Gelder. But Sandy has already killed her, and Clara left with Gelder’s daughter Kat. But, things soon turned darker when Carmichael arrived in Barcelona. So three of them, Hanna, Kat, and Clara, hid in a hillside villa. Elsewhere, Marissa helped Hanna recover Gelder’s target list to destroy Utrax while Hanna asks Clara to return to her mother.

Though the plot remains under wrap, it hints that Hanna would find more challenges in her mission. Even though she had escaped from Carmichael, yet she shouldn’t forget that Carmichael is one step ahead of her. Further, Sandy could be a great threat in the next run. Finally, there’s a huge possibility that Hanna would meet her biological mother. But only time will tell how she would react after learning the truth.
