Yet, despite the controversy, no new Boondocks seasons were ever released.

Boondocks Season 5: Officially Renewed!

Fortunately, the much-awaited Boondocks sequel is finally coming to our screens again. In June 2019, Sony Pictures Animation confirmed that they would be producing a reboot of the popular animated sitcom. It was later confirmed that McGruder would be picking up his executive producer role again. Moreover, actor John Witherspoon will be back as the fan-favorite character Robert Freeman in Boondocks Season 5.

A few months later, in September 2019, Warner Media’s upcoming streaming service HBO Max confirmed picking up the reboot with a two-season order. The highly-anticipated installments will each be twelve episodes long. The producers have confirmed that this new project is a reboot that will be a separate series. However, fans of the original show are considering the upcoming installment as the fifth season.

What Will Be The Plot Of The New Series?

The basic premise of Boondocks Season 5 will be quite similar to the 2005’s main plotline. It will follow the Freemans who move to the friendly and overall white suburban Maryland, where Uncle Ruckus rules the community government. They attempt to fight Ruckus’ regime as everyday life becomes a struggle to survive. As of now, the plot of the reboot series sounds intriguing. We hope that the new season turns out to be as successful as the original show.

When Will Boondocks Season 5 Release?

The renewal of the Boondocks reboot series went viral soon after it’s announcement. Fans were excited that they get to watch the classic satirical sitcom again. As a cherry on top, HBO Max picked up two seasons of the show altogether. Back then, the producers said that Boondocks Season 5 would hit the screens sometime in 2020.

Renewing the show, in a press release, the network stated that the show (Good Witch) that returned for a sixth season on May 6 had impressive ratings throughout the season. The premiere episode of the show had about 2.9 million viewers making it Hallmark’s #1 rated cable network over the weekend among the households.

Not just renewed, recent reports reveal that Good Witch Season 7 has also begun filming. If it follows the timeline it has been following until now, most probably, Season 7 would release sometime in the summer of 2021.

The show is renewed but we do not have many details on what would happen next. Putting our best guesses out, there are a number of things that could happen. Since the curse is broken, viewers can easily speculate either a wedding or a reconciliation. A new romance might be on the cards too.

If Adam does comes back to Middleton after his mission, would he and Stephanie revive their relationship and get together? Could there be a romance starting between Joy and Carter? What Is The Renewal Status?

As of now, Netflix is yet to renew Sweet Home Season 2. The show premiered on the streaming giant only a few days ago, so it is too early to speculate about the future of the series. Sweet Home Season 2: What Would Happen Next?

The first season of Sweet Home left us with a number of questions. By the end of the first season, viewers saw Sang-Wook in a pool of his own blood after he tried to help Yu Ri. The last twist of the season was when Cha Hyun Soo woke up in the military van being driven by a scarless Sang-Wook. 

One of the two things that would have happened to Sang Wook is, firstly, Sang Wook has either undergone his own metamorphosis or is in the Golden Hour before he becomes a monster. The second possibility is that Myeong escaping in a military van after he got defeated by Cha Hyun Soo as his powers appear to be taking possession of another human. He could have taken over Sang Wook’s body. 

Other than that, Green Homes collapsed, and Eun Hyuk began bleeding the same way someone infected would have. Despite the fact that he was buried under the rubble of the apartment, it looks like Eun Hyuk is going through his own metamorphosis, and any regenerative abilities would save his life. 

Would Yi Kung Continue Her Search?

Yi Kung spent a lot of time in the first season to figure out what had happened to her fiancé- Nam Sang Won.
