After watching the second season’s finale of We Never Learn, the fans are getting desperate to know whether there will be We Never Learn Season 3 or not. We Never Learn, aka Bokuben, is a Japanese rom-com anime series. It is a remake of the manga series of the same title by Taishi Tsutsui. The first season of the anime series ran from April to June 2019. The second season also premiered this very year on October 6. It ran for thirteen episodes, with the last one being released on December 29, 2019. 

We Never Learn Season 3: Renewal Status!

Last year, the fans saw two brilliant seasons of this anime series only in eight months. Therefore they thought the third season would also get a quick renewal. However, it never happened. The fact is that the makers of this anime concluded its storyline with the finale of the second season. The anime was going way too ahead of its source material. It adapted the initial chapter but then molded the plot. Even the author of the manga also stated that the viewers would see a different ending in the manga series. Therefore they didn’t renew the anime for We Never Learn Season 3. 

Is There Enough Source Material?

Taishi Tsutsui, the author of the manga series, has published 19 volumes of the manga series so far, which have a total of 177 chapters. The 19th volume of the manga was recently released on October 2, 2020. But in the two seasons of the anime series, Arvo Animation only adapted the first 69 chapters of it. They only used the content up to the 8th volume of the manga series. And that means the makers still have more than enough source material to create We Never Learn Season 3. They have more than 100 chapters to choose from for the plot of the third installment. 

Will The Anime Ever Return?

Everyone has been asking whether they will see the third season of this anime or not. And to be honest, the chances are very slim. The creators have enough source material, but the anime series already modified its plot and provided a proper conclusion. After the second season finished airing, Taishi Tsutsui also posted a message on his Twitter handle hinted at the end of the anime.

He tweeted, “Thank you for following the last episode of the anime. Thank you very much for doing such an excellent animation with the help of many people. Regarding the significance between the last episode of the anime and the ultimate development of the original story… No comment. I believe that the original story will advance to be enjoyed. Thanks!”

Kaichou Wa Maid-Sama Season 2: Renewal Status!

Ten years is a very long period of time. But J.C. Staff, the production studio of this anime, hasn’t spoken a single word regarding the future of the show in all these years. Back in 2010, when the show was first aired, it was in huge demand, and everyone thought they would certainly see its second season. Unfortunately, it never made it to the screens. 

The makers neither renewed nor canceled the anime for its upcoming installment. J.C. Staff is known for shelving good animes midway, and sadly it is one of them. They even refused to talk about its future installments. So, for now, the current renewal status of the show is canceled. If Kaichou Wa Maid-Sama Season 2 is still in the cards, the makers will announce it soon.

Is There Enough Source Material?

The authors have published a total of 18 volumes of this manga, with the final one being released on February 5, 2014. After 2010, Fujiwara published a total of 11 volumes, which are more than enough to make two more seasons of this anime. Therefore the makers have more than enough source material for its second season, and it seems like one nod for J.C. Staff will begin its production anytime soon.

The debut season of this anime received a lot of popularity as well as controversy. Some fans accused the maid-cafe theme of this show to be sexist. Goblin Slayer Season 2: What Will Happen?

The following season of the anime series will most likely adopt the plot from the third and fourth volumes of the light novel series. Therefore the fans will see Goblin Slayer going on a different mission right at the beginning of the second season. The Goblin Slayer-san, aka Orcbolg and Priestess, will go on to save the lives of kidnapped maidens from goblins sneaking in a mine. However, in the second season, the goblins will become more intelligent. They now have different types of equipment rather than simple tools. 

Goblin Slayer Season 2 will also present a new adversary known as “Dark Elf.” He is a part of the Evil Sect as well. Dark Elf intends to resurrect the Demon Lord after falling in the battle against Sword Maiden’s party. He’ll join in a peaceful gathering in Frontier town to face Orcbolg in a battle.

Goblin Slayer Season 2: Release Date

It is likely that White Fox will begin the production of the second season from the next year. And if it happens, then the fans will see the following season very soon. Goblin Slayer Season 2 might make its on-screen return in late 2022.

However, after a great loss in ratings and viewership of the series, the makers decided not to renew it for further installments. Hence, in August 2019, Syfy announced they are canceling Krypton Season 3. So the current renewal status for the third season of this series is canceled. 

Reasons Behind The Cancelation!

The main reason behind the cancelation of the show was the huge drop in its ratings and viewership. The average viewership of the debut season was 790,000. However, the second season’s finale drew only 350,000, which is less than half of the initial viewership. No matter how good the show, if people are not going to watch it, then there is no point in continuing it. After a 54% drop in ratings and a 48% drop in viewership, Syfy canceled the potential future installments of the series. 

Krypton Season 3: Will The Show Ever Return?

The debut season of the prequel series really disappointed the fans and the critics. And the poor storyline and performance of the first kept the viewers away from the impressive second season. Even the appearance of Lobo and more Doomsday smashing wasn’t able to get the fans back to watch the show. Plus, most of the DC fans tuned into the series because it was a Superman’s show. However, it was Superman’s show with no Superman. Once the fans realized this, they made their distance from the series.

Back in June 2019, Syfy canceled not one but three comic book shows. It seems like the network is losing faith in these kinds of shows. Plus, nowadays, a lot of superhero shows are available on several networks. Therefore Syfy decided to lessen the crowd by canceling some of their series. So, now it is unlikely that fans will ever see Krypton Season 3 on-screen again.
