All the sci-fi fans have been in dire wait of Altered Carbon since its second season. But its looks like the streaming giant is all set to bring the high bridges down. Netflix has officially canceled Altered Carbon Season 3 after two successful seasons. However, it seems that the pandemic hasn’t doomed the show. There is another reason for the cancellation. Altered Carbon is a sci-fi drama of Netflix. Created by Laeta Kalogridis, the show is based on a novel of the same name by Richard K. Morgan. The plot is set almost 300 years ahead in the futuristic city named Bay City. There, the memory of the person is stored differently onto a device called the cortical stack. However, these stacks get easily transferred to new bodies after the death of owning one. Meths in the story can even change their body through cloning.

Further, in the story, we see Meth Laurens as the wealthiest man in this world. However, he gets the chance to solve the murder case. Kovacs, a new sleeve was searching for his love and leader. Altered Carbon Season 3 was about to bring a lot of new elements in the show.

Altered Carbon Season 3: Canceled!

Netflix has canceled the return of the further season of Altered Carbon. As per Deadline, it was decided in April to not continue with the show. However, the most significant break is that the reason is not pandemic related. The reason for the cancellation was probably something else. The show was facing a lack of ‘viewership vs. renewal review process.’ The show seems not to entertain the fans any more on the streaming giant. Indeed the show isn’t affected by the ongoing pandemic but instead due to itself.

What Could Have Happened?

The answers to the previous season’s questions were expected to clear out in the third installment. The biggest question which stood was what happened with Kovacs and his sister Reileen? However, now we will not be able to know the future scenario of the series. We expected more sleeves to revive in Altered Carbon Season 3.

There was an expectation of Anthony Mackie existing in the series. One thing cleared out from the previous plot, that the dead can always rise in the show. Fans were expecting more drama and mysteries to come up in the future season. But, everything now seems to fall because of the cancellation news. We will not be able to know the forthcoming plot.

Showrunner Had Plenty Of Ideas

The second part of the show came up this year in February. However, the makers didn’t start their production or even writing part. They were waiting for the show to get the official confirmation. It seemed that they already got the hint about the cancellation of the show. Moreover, showrunner, Alison Schapker mentioned that he had plenty of ideas for the coming story. He also expressed about making season after season. As expressed by his side, he was dying to start the production process.

The creators of the series informed the fans that they were lucky enough that the second season’s production got wrapped before the coronavirus pandemic hit the entire world. Kathleen Kennedy, the president of Lucasfilm, informed the viewers that they completed the production only five days before the global shutdown. In his interview with the Wrap, he said,

“Under the line? It was literally five days, and the nation went down. We were enormously fortunate, and then we didn’t wait to begin post-production. Even though we queried to what degree people could work remotely, our IT department and ILM had everybody up and moving within a week. They were operating from home and continuing to work in the cutting room and on visual effects shots.”

The Mandalorian Season 2: Plot Details!

The inaugural season of the series ended with several cliffhangers. We still haven’t got the identity of “Client,” and the backstory and future of Baby Yoda. And that probably has a lot to do with wherever he comes from and his passion to create a planet and bring it back together.” The show’s writer said, “There are things in The Mandalorian Season 2 which will blow the mind of the people.”

The Mandalorian Season 2: Trailer & Release Date

According to several reports, the creators might drop the trailer for the second season of the series by the end of this month. The cast and crew wrapped the production in March, and the post-production was also started remotely in the same month. Disney+ revealed the expected month for the premiere of the second season. The fans can expect The Mandalorian Season 2 to release sometime in October 2020.

Actress Aghdashloo Revealed Production Details

While many series such as Grey’s anatomy and Arrowverse were cut short recently because of the ongoing Coronavirus, it looks like Expanse season 5 won’t be one of them. Recently actress Shohreh Aghdashloo, who plays Chrisjen Avasarala on the show, took on to twitter to spread some good news for all the Expanse fans. She confirmed that they have already completed the shooting for The Expanse Season 5 before the deadly pandemic shut everything all around the globe. Aghdashloo shared the news as she thanked Zoom for letting her interact with all the castmates even when they are all at different places in this lockdown. The Expanse Season 5: When Will The Show Release?

Amazon has not yet revealed anything about the release date of The Expanse Season 5. However, we can make some educated guesses as when we would get to see more episodes of the show. The latest season, the fourth one released in December 2019. And given that the show has wrapped filming, all Expanse fans are looking forward to the 2020 release date. However, the franchise takes a long time for the post-production process. Being as hopeful as we can, fans can keep their hopes for a late 2020 or perhaps early 2021 release date.

The director of the show Anthony Byrne recently revealed that the upcoming season of Peaky Blinders would be a big one. He revealed that he was shaken at the knee when he got the script for the first episode. Byrne said that when he checked his emails, he got the script for the sixth season from Steve. He continued to say that his reaction was like- Sh*t do you really want to know what happens there? Because she didn’t know. You will have to leave all that you have. 

Recalling about another executive Paul’s reaction when he got Knight’s email, Anthony says that Paul was on the couch and started reading it out loud. The director even revealed that he has never read something aloud before this time. This season really is a very good season. All dialogues are beautifully written, and they are all quotable. All the Peaky Blinders fans would remember how the fifth season ended. It ended with Tommy Shelby holding a gun to his head. Byrne reveals that the sixth season would take us to 1934, and things will become worse. Byrne says that the drum beats keep getting louder, and the tensions will be worse. Actress Annabelle Wallis is expected to come back as Grace Burgess for the sixth season. In the previous season, Tommy kept hallucinating about her. So, she might be coming back. Along with her, Kate Phillips could be coming back too. In an interview, talking about her character Linda Shelby she said that she would love if the character was around. There might be a few changes there, but she might be a part of all of it.  

With that said, it was rumored that Snoop Dogg would be a part of the sixth season. However, it was postponed because of some undisclosed reason. In an interview, Actor Joe Cole said that Steve Knight keeps saying that Snoop Dogg would be a part of the show, but he doesn’t know when. So, they are all waiting. Along with that, all major cast members could be coming back. It includes Cillian Murphy, who plays Tommy Shelby, Helen McCrory as Polly Gray, Paul Anderson as Arthur Shelby, Finn Cole as Michael Gray, Natasha O’Keeffe as Lizzie Shelby and Sophie Rundle as Ada Shelby. 

By the end of the fifth season, Tom Hardy made a dramatic reappearance. So we can expect him to come back. Sam Claflin is also expected to return for the sixth season. Back in April 2020, Stephen Graham had announced that he would join the cast. However, there has been no word about that after this announcement. So, we don’t know if that still stands or not.

Peaky Blinders Season 6 does not have any official release date yet. The productions were about to start when Coronavirus hit and paused everything. Trinkets Creator Spoke About The Future

While Netflix has been canceling shows abruptly, Trinkets will get an opportunity to complete their story, unlike many other shows. So, the characters will also receive a proper send-off before the show concludes. In an interview, the show’s creator- Kristen “Kiwi” Smith revealed that she felt like they were able to wrap everything from the show. They got an opportunity to love and embrace the idea of making the final season. The creator went on to say that for her, in her heart, she just wants to know that the characters on the show will be friends always. She says that she loves the idea that they would be leaving the show in a place where all viewers know that the characters will live on as best friends till the end. They don’t have to work through college and separate them all. So, she is happy with the end of Trinkets with season 2.

They said, ” The fourth season won’t be the end. We know what the purpose is, and we comprehend when it is. The pandemic has provided us time to look forward, figure out what is most suitable for the series. Beginning to fill that out provided us a better view of how long we need to tell that story.” It is also possible that the fans might see the sixth season as well.
