Krista Planning To Avoid COVID-19 Storyline

Earlier, it was announced that the series writers are planning to focus on the current coronavirus pandemic in their upcoming season. However, showrunner Krista wasn’t in that mood to frame such a story. As we all know, the entire world is fighting against the global pandemic. And many people don’t want to explore the dark world again, when everything is still out of control.

Similarly, Krista initially planned to avoid this situation. In an interview, she said she spent a lot of time thinking about how to corporate with the current situation. How to portray the COVID-19 pandemic in their next season? But later, she decided to ignore it instead of showing the dreadful scenes again from which everyone has been feared off.

Will Explore Untold COVID-19 Stories

When the boss discussed her plans with the series writers and experts, she had changed her decision. She said it would be careless not to frame the things happening in the present world. As the series is known to represent the medical cases that ordinary people are dealing with today. So it would be careless if they ignored the current pandemic that has jeopardized the entire human life.

Further, Krista explained that she was convinced to show COVID-19 cases when she discussed it with some doctors. As there are so many things that the medical frontliners are still struggling with while battling against the deadly virus. The boss thinks it needs to represent in the next chapter. Like the doctors in their first year are dealing with vast numbers of deaths that many of them haven’t seen before. So, it’s on them to show such things in their show.

The makers of the show couldn’t start the filming part due to the pandemic. But now it seems that fans need something to build up the gap. As per the reports of TeenVogue, Zendaya just can’t wait to work in Euphoria Season 2. She revealed that there would be specific episodes release, which will not be a part of the second season but will act as a bridge for the audience to connect to the story. However, shooting for these episodes will soon start. Everyone had to quarantine to a place after being tested and will come after the shoot finishes. It will be exciting to see actors living together and coping with each other to create something new.

Harrison Joining Euphoria

The audience will see some new faces in the coming season of Euphoria. Davidson Revealed The Real Reason

Putting an end to all these rumors, Davidson revealed why she left. In an interview with Soap opera digest in 2019, she announced that she had decided that she would leave about a year before she left. There wasn’t much for her to do with Mal. He wasn’t even the head at the time.

Davidson continued to say that she was feeling exhausted and really consumed with memorizing all the lines. She was doing a lot of homework on the weekend. She said that she had been doing all this for very long, and she wanted a break from being somewhere all the time. Hence she decided to leave. However, everyone at Young and the Restless was quite devastated with the decision.

Talking about Mal Young, she said that he was really disappointed with her decision to leave the soap opera. In the interview, she revealed that Mal was unhappy and sad. He told her that he loved writing for her and that she was one of his favorite actors.

Amanda Setton, the actress who plays Brook Lynn on General Hospital, has confirmed that she is stepping back from the soap opera for some time. The actress is pregnant with her third child and hence will not be able to play Brook Lynn Quartermaine through her maternity period. In an interview with soap opera digest, Setton confirmed that actress Briana Lane is stepping in to play the character during her absence. 

In the same interview, The 34-year-old actress said that she and her husband are really thankful that they are expecting their third child. She indeed is very eager to get back to shoot for General Hospital, but doctors had advised them to wait. Setton continued to say that she loves being a part of the General Hospital family. 

Actress Briana Lane Coming On Board

Setton Gives all her good wishes to Lane

Actress Amanda Setton says that she has missed all the writers, executives, and the cast members. She has missed them until now and will continue to miss all of that during her maternity leave. In fact, Setton was all praises for her replacement Briana. She said that she is very excited to see what Briana brings to the table for Brook Lynn. 

She continued to say that it will be a big challenge for writers and all the creative heads at General Hospital to keep all the things together. They have to keep Brook Lynn’s spirit alive for all the General Hospital fans. She went on to say that she is sure that Lane will do a great job and will only make the character fun and more complex. Setton says that she will be watching and rooting for the new face all the way.
