Yesterday, Syfy announced that the filming for Van Helsing Season 5 has resumed for its final run. The horror series from Dynamic Television and Nomadic Pictures is on its end journey, where survivors and vampires are ready to battle for their existence. Recently, the network confirmed who will reprise their roles. Along with them, the network also announced the new faces who are joining the show. No doubt, the final run would be as powerful as its other parts, since the characters arriving can topsy-turvy your world. Let’s have a look.

Van Helsing, created by Neil LaBute, is a dark fantasy horror drama series on Syfy. The series based on Zenescope Entertainment’s graphic novel title Helsing. It follows the struggles of Vanessa Van Helsing (Kelly Overton), daughter of Abraham Van Helsing. She has a unique blood structure that can turn vampires human. She has awakened from a coma in a world where vampire rules. It happened when the Yellowstone Caldera erupted, covering the world in ash, cutting off the path of sunlight and permitting the vampires to invade humanity. However, because of her blood, she became a prime target for the vampires. But, she has been protected by the doctor who saved her and a Marine.

Van Helsing Season 5: Cast Details

Yesterday, Syfy revealed who’s going to return for the final run of the series. These include Kim Coates as Count Dalibor, who will play Olivia Ryan Stern’s (Chloe) husband’s character. Ali Liebert will portray Nina’s character, a vampire with a lively past that involves Aleks Paunovic as Julius and some hidden plan that results in a lot of death. Steve Bacic will play a wild vampire who usually wears animal skins. He has been hiding with a child in an abandoned mine.

The executive producer and co-chairman of Nomadic Pictures, Michael Frislev, greeted the new cast. He stated that they are pleased that Kim, Steve, and Ali are joining the show. Michael said: “Kim, Steve, Ali are fabulous talents. And we are excited to welcome them to our Van Helsing family.”

Who Will Return?

Apart from them, the entire main casts are ready to return. These include Kelly Overton as Vanessa Van Helsing (or Vanessa Seward) and Jonathan Scarfe as Axel Miller. Along with them, Tricia Helfer as Dracula and Keeya King as Violet will also return. Aleks Paunovic as Julius and Nicole Munoz as Jacqueline “Jack,” will join them as well.

Executive Producers Confirmed Filming Would Resume Soon

Van Helsing Season 5 filming would resume in Kamloops and Vancouver, Canada. However, the first three episodes were filmed in Slovakia before the pandemic hit the world. The series executive producer Michael confirmed that they would be following the health protocols imposed by the government. He said, the entire cast and crew members will be tested first before heading to set, as it’s the first show which will resume filming in Canada so soon.

Micheal said: “We started on our COVID-19 protocols and PPE collection shortly after shutting down. The entire crew and cast have been through our COVID-19 safety training and were tested before going to the camera.”

Chad Oakes Has Spoken About Team’s Hard Work

Further, the executive producer and co-chairman of Nomadic Pictures, Chad Oakes, admired the team, including crew, writers, directors, procedures, and executive team. He said it wouldn’t be possible if the team couldn’t work on the safety measures. Chad said that they believe that their team safety is first. So it’s their duty to get their team’s health check-up.

Chad said: “The safe and active return to production results from 12 weeks of tireless efforts. On behalf of our entire executive team, directors, producers, writers, and crew. It would not be possible without the endless discussion, drafting, and execution of our safe return to work protocols with all the unions and guilds. We understand the tough duty. To be the first out of the gate. And proceed with every cast and crew member’s safety as our priority.”

The creators literally summoned 179 manga chapters in just 24 episodes of the anime and concluded the storyline. As a result, the show, which has the potential to become one of the best anime of all time, didn’t even come closer to its manga. The manga readers highly criticized it, even the large number of viewers and critics said the anime series to be messy. 

However, there are still lots of people who want to see more of Ken Kaniki and Touka Kirishima in Tokyo Ghoul Season 5. But unlike the initial installments, humans, and ghouls finally decided to live together peacefully in the fourth installment. Both the protagonist also found their happy ending. So nothing’s left for the creators to continue in the fifth season. Therefore, Pierrot is not likely to take the anime series any further. 

Will The Fans Ever See Tokyo Ghoul Season 5?

To be honest, the chances are very low for the fans to watch the fifth season, ever. The fourth season ended the storyline and tied all the loose ends. Moreover, the creators don’t have any source for making new episodes. And the manga readers also think that it is better to end the series because extending the storyline will ruin the ideal ending and the storyline of the previous four seasons. Therefore, the arrival of Tokyo Ghoul Season 5 solely depends on its writer, Sui Ishida. If he decides to continue the manga with a new plot, the anime series might return.

Currently, both the creators of the series, Sui Ishida and Pierrot are busy with their respective projects. Black Clover Episode 136: Plot Details!

The anime is coming close to the manga really fast, and that’s why the creators decide to put a filler arc. There is a gap of hardly 20 chapters between the anime and manga. Is The Show Renewed?

This is a piece of good news. Netflix has already renewed Another Life Season 2. On October 29, 2019, the news surfaced just when the first season had completed three months of airing. Although the first season of the show could not bag great reviews. It bagged only 7% Rotten Tomatoes, and the audience hasn’t like the show much either. Even after that, Netflix has greenlit the show. Maybe the viewers might start liking the show after seeing more of the story in Another Life Season 2.

The inaugural season of Another Life started finding details about the Artifact and its origin. They also tried to find out whether the aliens who sent it are friendly or not. As the season ends, fans get to know that the alien race is known as Achaia. This race is definitely not at all friendly. One of the AI on the planet- Zakir, revealed that Achaia’s main goal was to destroy everything. When Achia first came on the planet, they made their motive clear as they blew up Zakir. Niko and Salvare had tried to liberate it from its Artifact. That confirmed that it wouldn’t be an easy task for to save Earth from this race. 

Another Life Season 2: What’s Coming Up Next?

It looks like Achaia’s intentions are more complex than they look. They might have more things to do that simply destroying the Earth. However, the first season also sees Harper Glass, the journalist who is in control of Achaia. He is the one who announces to people that these aliens are peaceful and want to be friends with residents on Earth. It is also possible that Achaia might wish to rule all the humans and use this planet for all the resources. Unfortunately, Erik could not get the message about the hatred Achaia’s have. He was last seen when she was walking into the Artifact with Jana. He even believes that the aliens will save her life. 

Another Life Season 2 might feature Erik getting into Achaia’s control, just like Harper Glass. This might set up a fight where Erik becomes the antagonist, and Niko has to fight her own husband. Achaias are well aware that Niko is a threat to them. So, this would make sense that they would use Erik to stop her. Along with that, we might also get to see Salvare coming back to Earth safely. This whole journey wouldn’t be easy in any sense.

Elite Season 4: Production Status

On May 22, Netflix officially announced that the fourth chapter of Elite is on its horizon. With the announcement, Netflix posted a video on its See What’s Next Twitter account, in which all the main casts were expressing their excitement for its next season. One of the stars revealed that writing work is completed, and they already received their script. Also, the leads said the script looks good. And there are more amazing things going to happen with them in the upcoming season. The full cast details haven’t announced yet. But Netflix released pictures of some of the cast expected to join the upcoming season, in which, a few new faces can also be seen. However, nothing has been revealed about the role which they would portray in the fourth season. These new faces include Martina Cariddi, Carla Diaz, Pol Granch, and Manu Rios.

Along with the new cast, Netflix also revealed the main casts that will reprise their role. The list includes Georgina Amoros as Cayetana, Claudia Salas as Rebeca, and Itzan Escamilla as Samuel. Elite Season 4: When To Expect?

If considering the previous season’s release pattern, then Elite Season 4 would premiere somewhere in March 2021. However, he’s the former Imperial officer who’s doing his duty only. Perhaps his search for Baby Yoda might be related to his some other plans. The Mandalorian, created by Jon Favreau, is a space western drama series on Disney+. It is set 25 years before The Force Awakens event started and five years after Returns of the Jedi happened. It follows Din Djarin, a Mandalorian bounty hunter’s (Pedro Pascal) journey to find his target. He is a lone gunfighter who is rescued during the Clone Wars by Mandalorians. Five years later, after the descend of the Empire, the Mandalorian got a task from a client who pays him well. The Client (Werner Herzog) promised to give Mandalorian a crate of Beskar to exchange information about his target. Beskar is a unique metal used by Mandalorians to create impassable armor.

The Mandalorian Season 2: Giancarlo Esposito Revealed Details

In the previous season, Moff held the royal Darksaber, which left everyone wondering whether he’s a Sith Lord. However, in an interview, Esposito confirmed that apart from holding Darksaber, in the second season, Moff would use it too. He further teased that carrying the great sword (Darksaber) represents his powers that no other character in the series possesses. It means now he can do whatever he wishes for even it sounds dirty and nasty. And it’s a part of him as a warrior who’s ready for a fight.

Esposito said: “To be in the position of having that graceful royal power. But has this sword which depicts a different part of me than any other character. To have this sword means I can use it. And I can do my dirty work, that I’m a warrior, that I’m a fighter. That’s part of me.”

Is Moff Descendant Of Darth Vader?

Further, he revealed that having this noble sword means he’s holding some powers which only a few can possess. It means he’s the one of the Sith Lord. However, to make everything more interesting, he stated some confusing questions. Whether he’s the one who’s everyone assuming or not could be revealed only in the upcoming season.

Esposito said: “It also creates the possibility that he is one of the ones. He possibly has that, and that is interesting. Is he a descendant of Darth Vader? is he that fallen hero? Who is Moff? What does he want? Moff knows all about everything, and you’ll have to wait to find out.”

In October last year, HBO announced the prequel series of Game of Thrones- House of the Dragon. The producers haven’t yet revealed many details about it. All we know so far is that they have ordered ten episodes for the debut run. The series will be inspired by the book- “Fire and Blood.” The show will start with Aegon Targaryen’s conquest. This was something that “Game of Thrones” did not feature. 

Aegon Targaryen’s conquest featured the war in which Aegon I, along with his wives Visenya and Rhaenys. He came to Westeros and brought six of the seven kingdoms under his rule in the reign. The whole Targaryen history features a number of dragons. In fact, it is one of the essential things in the series. Aegon’s dragon was called Balerion. It was the biggest dragon seen in Westeros. His sisters, too, had their own dragons. With that said, new reports hint something about casting. Here are all the details about it- 

Casting For House of The Dragon Has Begun

Many fans had been speculating about the casting for the upcoming prequel series. These fans also include Redanian Intelligence and The Wertzone. After these speculations, one report confirms that it is indeed true. The casting for the prequel is underway. However, HBO has not yet revealed any further details about it. 

Since the prequel will follow the Targaryen story, we can expect a few main characters from the story to get on screen. However, that isn’t confirmed yet. For a basic idea, here are the characters we think could make on-screen. First is King Viserys I. He is the beloved fifth king in the Targaryen reign. He was one of the most peaceful and prosperous until he died. Another one is Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen. She was King Visery’s chosen heir. The princess was also a dragon rider who wanted to be the first ruling Queen of Westeros. Next in the list is Queen Alicent Hightower, who was Visery’s second wife and Princess Rhenyra’s stepmother. She had three children with the king. The name in our list is Aegon II Targaryen, who was the half brother who challenged Rhaenyra to get the throne.

Just because these characters play a considerable part in the novel does not mean they will make to the screens, but who knows? Anything is possible since the creators haven’t yet revealed anything. 

House Of Dragons: All Details We Know 

HBO hasn’t yet officially revealed what Targaryen’s storyline they would use for the prequel. The original press release from “House of the Dragon” revealed that the show would be based on George R.R. Martin’s book- ‘Fire & Blood.’ The series is set 300 years before what happens in Game of Thrones. Miguel Sapochnik is coming in to direct the show, the pilot, and all the additional episodes. Sapochnik and Condal will be the showrunners for the series. Condal is also writing the scripts for the show. 

Miguel Sapochnik had risen to prominence after he directed the first two episodes of the original series- “Game of Thrones.” These episodes were “The Gift” and “Hardhome.” These episodes premiered in 2015. Then Sapochnik came back to make another stunner in the sixth season. These episodes included “Battle of the Bastards” and “The Winds of Winter.” After that, he also directed the most action-packed episodes- “The Long Night” and “The Bells.” 

Release Schedule 

We don’t know when the show would release. Last year, in an interview, the HBO programming president said that they are placing all their efforts towards a 2022 release date. However, many things have changed since then. Coronavirus has hit us, productions have been paused. So, fans might have to wait much longer before the series releases.
