Everyone Loves Me Season 2: Netflix Plans For A Big SEQUEL!

Nothing is more delightful than a rom-com C-drama, and Everyone Loves Me is no different. The hilariously romantic approach shortly made the audience fall in love with the series. But since it has already concluded, fans eagerly await Everyone Loves Me Season 2. Will it return for the next outing to explore more secret crushes and complicated love stories? While fans are buzzing with the questions, Netflix’s vague hints suggest positive news. So, keep reading to learn the fate of the series.

Based on Qiao Yao’s novel Bie Dui Dong Xin, the series follows a modern-day complicated love story. It begins with Yue Qian Ling, an extrovert gamer who falls for Gu Xun, a popular guy at her school. Despite her efforts to confess her love for him, the misunderstanding makes things dramatic for the two, and soon, they end up parting ways. But their destiny had some other plans, and they met again, this time with a twist. Curious to know what lies ahead for them? Then keep reading!

Is Everyone Loves Me Season 2 Renewed?

At the time of writing, Netflix hasn’t yet renewed Everyone Loves Me Season 2. Well, the series has just hit the screen in March 2024. So, it’s quite early to expect the streaming platform to renew the show, especially since reviewing the viewership vs. cost graph takes a couple of months. But there’s a chance that the show will return based on its incredible performance. It gained 7.3 out of 10 on IMDb.

Netflix

Not only this, the series also performed well on the streaming giant. Just after its debut, Everyone Loves Me reached Netflix’s Global Top Ten, but only in Taiwan for three weeks. Thus, there’s a fifty-fifty chance that the show will return. But the good part is that Netflix hasn’t billed it as a ‘limited series.’ That means it can return with another sequel. Further, considering its performance, it’s highly likely to return.

Is There Enough Source Material?

As mentioned above, the series is based on Qiao Yao’s novel, which consists of 66 chapters, including two extras. Though it seems like there isn’t enough source material, as per the reports, the C-drama has only covered a fragment of the novel. That means there’s more to cover in Everyone Loves Me Season 2. The series ended with the male and female lead getting what they had dreamed of. However, they haven’t married yet.

However, in the source material, the couple has already exchanged vows and lives a wonderful life together. Thus, considering the narrative, it seems like the chances of Everyone Loves Me getting a second season are higher. But again, the show hasn’t followed the footsteps of the novel. It has already fabricated some scenes. Thus, it remains unclear whether it will return with another season.

Everyone Loves Me: Ending Explained

In the finale, Gu Xun seemed confident as he was about to crack a deal with an entertainment agency for his triple-A game. However, it never happened, as the company turned out to be a fraud, leaving Gu Xun to work on his business plan. While he was relieved that Qian Ling had saved him, Gu Xun seemed excited to meet Lin Yi’s family. However, Lin Yi didn’t think it was a good idea as they had just started dating. At first, Gu Xun agreed with her words, but he later surprised Lin Yi by visiting her parents’ house.

Netflix

Qian Ling’s mother was impressed with Gu Xun and shortly approved of her daughter’s relationship. But it wasn’t the same with Mr Yue. He made things challenging for Gu Xun. Despite the hurdles, Gu Xun finally won Lin Yi’s father’s heart. Later, the finale took the viewers forward in time, where Gu Xun and Qian Ling celebrated their big day. They finally accomplished their childhood dream by selling over 10 million copies of their game. As the two celebrated this big event, the show ended with Qian Ling and Gu Xun hugging each other while remembering their challenges.

Now, if Everyone Loves Me Season 2 returns, it will focus on Qian Ling and Gu Xun embarking on their journey as a married couple. It might focus on the new phase of their relationship, including parenthood. Since the novel focuses on their parenting together, the show will likely explore the same in the next outing.

Chances Of Everyone Loves Me Season 2!

Unfortunately, there’s a twist! Since Everyone Loves Me is a C-drama, the chances of it getting another season are quite scarce. That’s because the C-drama industry doesn’t follow a multiple-season format. Instead, they focus on exploring every aspect of the theme in one season. In other words, it’s a one-and-done season, as it isn’t meant to extend beyond the first season. However, the C-drama industry format is changing, so it might return with season 2 of Everyone Loves Me if things work in its favor. But again, the chances are low. That’s because the production house behind the series, Youku, is known for delivering a long show with a conclusive nature.

Everyone Loves Me Season 2: Cast Details

Netflix

No doubt, if the show returns, it will bring back Lin Yi as Gu Won and Ye Zhou as Qing Ling. Besides them, the series will also bring back the other cast members. These include Yao Hong, Mengjia Tang, Yu Zhan, Weilun Miao. Apart from them, Xinyi Yu, YiMing Jiang, Meihan Liu, Xiaoyunzi Wang, and Song Zhang could also return.

Everyone Loves Me Season 2: Release Date

As mentioned above, the show hasn’t yet been renewed. So, it’s quite early to get a release date. However, since the series is based on a novel and there are more chapters to explore, we expect Netflix will soon make its decision. If it gets renewed in spring 2024, it will take almost eight to nine months to wrap up production. Considering the timeframe, we expect Everyone Loves Me Season 2 to air sometime in the fall of 2025. This is all for now. Stay tuned. TechRadar247 will keep you updated.

Queen Of Tears Episode 10: Hae-In Doubts Hyun-Woo’s Intention! What’s Next?

Queen Of Tears Episode 10 recently dropped its latest preview, which hints that things are getting miserable for Hae-In and her family. No doubt, the family was used to living a luxurious life. But things have changed now. They struggle to navigate a life in a small village, hiding from the media personnel. While the media tries to get to the Hong family, Hyun-Woo vows to help his former wife and her family deal with the challenges. But why is he trying to help her? Is Hyun-Woo hiding something? Let’s see!

Queen Of Tears Episode 10: The Hong Family Struggles To Live A Normal Life!

After Yoon Eun-Seong snatched the chaebol status from the Chaebol Queens Group, the Hong family’s situation became problematic. It became tough for them to deal with the conglomerate’s failure. So, instead of dealing with the shame, the family ran to Yongduri to live with Hyun Woo’s family. While the Hong family adjusts to the new normal, they struggle to navigate their new lifestyle in the village. Queen Of Tears Episode 10’s latest trailer also hints at the same direction.

Though it begins with a fun family moment, everything changes when the Hae-In family starts fussing about water quality and food. They had been living luxurious lives, but everything changed when Yoon Eun-Seong used his tactics to become the largest shareholder of Queens Group, kicking the Hong family out of their own empire. And now, he and his mother, Mo Seul-Hee, enjoy newfound success when the Hong family tries to deal with the shame and strained relationships.

The trailer shows Hae-In’s family having dinner, where Hyun-Woo’s father offers her brother Hong Soo-Cheol food. But instead of accepting the older man’s offer, Soo-Cheol refuses to eat, saying he has lost his appetite. Things then take a dramatic turn when Soo-Cheol asks for water but refuses to drink regular water. He even urges Hyun-Woo to get a bottle of mineral water despite knowing the media is waiting for them to leave their place.

It quickly embarrasses Hae-In’s father, Hong Beom Jun, who apologizes to Hyun-Woo’s family for his son’s immature behavior. While things seem to settle in Queen Of Tears Episode 10, Beom Jun does the same thing in the preview clip. He also asks for high-quality water, flustering everyone. In order to ease things up, Hae-In steps in and hits her brother Soo-Cheol, asking him to behave and eat whatever they have.

Soo-Cheol Deals With Heartbreak

While the Queen Of Tears Episode 10 trailer shows Soo-Cheol isn’t ready to adjust to this new lifestyle, he is still reeling from his heartbreak. The family hasn’t only lost their empire but also lost some great relationships, one of them being Soo-Cheol. His wife, Cheon Da-Hye, leaves him and his family behind to settle abroad. She even takes their son with her, making things more stressful for Soo-Cheol. While he deals with this problem, his sister, Hae-In, also faces the same situation.

She and Hyun-Woo just got separated. But the latter is ready to make things work for her, and he even provides shelter to Hae-In and her family. This makes her wonder about Hyun-Woo’s intention. While she doubts her husband’s true intention, Hyun-Woo vows to bring happiness to the Hong family’s life. He even decides to take down Yoon Eun-Seong using the same tactics he used on Hae-In’s family. But will it work?

Queen Of Tears Episode 10: Release Date

As the Hong family deals with the aftermath of the conglomerate’s failure, Hyun-Woo stresses to win back Hae-In. He wants to stay beside her, but her behavior is slightly different from the past, making him doubt whether she wants Hyun-Woo in her life. To know her decision, tune in to Queen Of Tears Episode 10 on April 7, 2024, at 9:20 pm KST. South Korean viewers can enjoy the show on tvN, while the global audience can watch it on Netflix.

This is all for now. Stay tuned. TechRadar247 will keep you updated.

3 Body Problem Season 2: Under Development? Boss Hints At FOUR MORE Seasons!

Since Netflix dropped the epic sci-fi 3 Body Problem, fans haven’t kept calm as they eagerly wait for the next mindblowing season. But will there be 3 Body Problem Season 2? Well, the streaming giant recently dropped the pilot season of the fantasy drama. So it isn’t a possibility. However, the series co-creators David Benioff, D.B. Weiss, and Alexander Woo have recently opened up about their plans for the second season. So, is the series on the cards? Keep reading to know that.

Based on Cixin Liu’s novel series The Three-Body Problem, the series focuses on an astrophysicist, Ye Wenjie. Since her troublesome childhood, she relied more on her scientific background than connecting with emotions. That was because, during the Chinese Cultural Revolution, she saw her father beaten to death. Later, she was transferred to the military base, where her fateful decision helped the military learn about humanity’s greatest threat. So, will she return for the next outing? Let’s see!

Is 3 Body Problem Season 2 Renewed?

After the stunning, action-packed ending, audiences are clamoring for 3 Body Problem Season 2. However, Netflix hasn’t yet renewed the show for the next season. But that doesn’t mean it’s the end of the epic saga. That’s because the pilot season is reportedly Netflix’s most expensive scripted season ever, costing around $20 million per episode. Considering the huge amount, it seems like Netflix might soon renew 3 Body Problem for season 2.

Netflix

Not only this, but the fantasy drama series also performed incredibly well in terms of ratings. Within a few weeks of its debut, the series earned 77% positive ratings on Rotten Tomatoes and 7.7 out of 10 on IMDb. Besides this, the series reached Netflix’s Global Top Ten in the week of March 18 – March 24, 2024, peaking in the No. 1 position, surpassing The Gentlemen: Season 1. Thus, it seems like the streaming giant will soon consider this and announce its decision.

However, Netflix takes almost a couple of months to announce its decision, so it doesn’t seem like the streaming giant will make an announcement soon. Considering the series’ incredible performance, we expect that the streaming giant will make an announcement in a couple of months. Further, the cost vs. viewership graph will play a significant role in renewing 3 Body Problem Season 2.

Creator Enivisions More Than Three Seasons

As we all know, 3 Body Problem is an adaptation of Liu’s trilogy. The first season covered only one book, so there is more to bring to the screen. Surprisingly, series co-creator Alexander Woo recently revealed they want to work on all three novels. In an interview with RadioTimes, Woo said they believed they would return for the second season. However, currently, they are focusing on taking tiny steps. The first season has just aired, so Woo wanted to see how their series will perform.

Netflix

Beyond that, Woo mentioned that the book is a trilogy, so they can roughly plan for three seasons. However, the third book is quite lengthy compared to the previous two books, so it doesn’t seem like the entire book will be adapted in one season. Hence, they are planning to continue the series beyond 3 Body Problem Season 2. Woo added that they are honestly excited about the ending of the book and how beautifully it ties everything together.

So, they wanted the third book to be covered in more than two seasons. Considering this, Woo promises that the show might continue for four seasons or more. But it entirely depends on Netflix! However, before the 3 Body Problem release, the co-creators discussed their plan for 3 Body Problem Season 2. They already revealed that they were working on the series. Let’s see how far they have reached.

3 Body Problem Season 2: Production Details

As stated above, the series creators revealed they had already begun working on the 3 Body Problem Season 2 before its debut. D.B. Weiss told Collider that they had a rough idea about the second run. However, they haven’t yet started the scripting work. The season is currently in the rough stage. Weiss added that the view gets hazier as they go further with the scripting. The creator also emphasized the third book and stated that they were more into it.

Netflix

Weiss also discussed the amazing landmarks and scenes mentioned in the third book. He said that they wanted to go to such locations to shoot those scenes, but they had no clue how to get there. Although they haven’t yet discussed when the production will start for 3 Body Problem Season 2, the creators seem excited about the filming location. Benioff also suggested that the second season will focus on Liu’s second book, The Dark Forest.

Who Will Be In 3 Body Problem Season 2 Cast?

Since the series has just aired on Netflix, it remains unclear who will return for 3 Body Problem Season 2. However, we can expect that the original cast will return for the next outing. These include Jovan Adepo as Saul Durand, Eiza Gonzalez as Auggie Salazar, Liam Cunningham as Thomas Wade, and Jess Hong as Jin Cheng. Other cast members include Marlo Kelly as Tatiana, Zine Tseng as young Ye Wenjie, Sea Shimooka as Sophon, and Saamer Usmani as Raj Varma. Besides them, Rosalind Chao as Ye Wenjie, Eve Ridley as Follower, and Ben Schnetzer as young Mike Evans might also return.

3 Body Problem Season 2: What To Expect?

The first season was a blast, no doubt. However, David Benioff said in an interview that the second season would be superior to the pilot season. That’s because the second book is “far better than the first,” hinting more drama and insane action will take place in 3 Body Problem Season 2. Like the first season had the Judgment Day scene, Benioff revealed that the second season would also focus on that. However, it will be a bit different.

That’s because those who survived in the first season would face the wrath of the forest. As per the synopsis, the universe is a forest where numerous nameless predators roam to hunt for their prey. However, humans need to learn survival skills to protect themselves from these dangerous predators. Not only this, but the Trisolarians are also reaching Earth. While the humans need to fight them, they must also fight against the Sophons already on Earth.

Netflix

Who remains protected from such predators remains to be seen. But 3 Body Problem Season 2 might focus on the Wallfacer Project. That will help four individuals to fight against the odds. While three of them are already known, it remains unclear who the fourth Wallfacer is. Will season 2 of 3 Body Problem answer that question?

3 Body Problem Season 2: Release Date

As of now, Netflix has yet to renew the series for the next season. However, the creators are already optimistic about this big project. So, considering this, the next season might be on the cards. But since it’s a sci-fi drama, the production will take at least a year to wrap up. Speaking about the 3 Body Problem Season 2 release date, it might air sometime in 2025. Stay tuned.
