FX has officially announced that American Horror Story Season 10 has postponed until 2021. The news came soon after Ryan Murphy stated that he’s looking to start filming this installment later this summer. However, the increased cases of COVID-19 lead to delay in the filming of season 10. But, it looks like an opportunity for showrunner Ryan Murphy to interact more with AHS fans. Lately, he came up with a “theme guessing game,” and now again, he hinted another clue of American Horror Story Season 10 theme. Let’s get a look at where this standalone season is taking us.
American Horror Story created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk is an horror anthology series of FX. Each season of the horror anthology designed as a self-enclosed miniseries having beginning, middle, and end. However, each plot portrays some elements of the real story from which the season inspired. From Murder House to 1984, it never missed any chance to scare its fans.
American Horror Story Season 10: Is Ocean Theme Confirmed?
Many fans guessed the ocean theme in Ryan’s Instagram- “guess the theme” post. However, the theme isn’t confirmed yet. Recently, Ryan stated that he’s looking for changes in season 10 theme. He further added, as soon as the shooting starts, changes would take place accordingly. Also, in his previous post, he teased that the upcoming season will be a weather dependent show. Indeed, we can see that in season 10, teaser, in which massive storm near a coastal area can be seen, including a lighthouse that is certainly adding more spookiness to the show.
Last month, Ryan stated: “A lot of what I was going to shoot was dependent on a particular moment; it was a weather-dependent show. So, now, I don’t know. I don’t know what we’re going to do.” Further, he added: “I don’t know what I’m going to do next with that show. I don’t know if I’ll accelerate another season or wait until next year to shoot this one.”
Ryan Hinted Another Clue
Ryan knows pretty well how to excite his fans. American Horror Story Season 10 theme is still uncertain, and everyone is eager to see where this new season will take us. To calm AHS fans, Ryan again came up with another hint of the theme. This time he posted a beach snap on his Instagram. In the image, the beach surrounded by a stick fence. However, one fragment of the fence has been blown off.
If we recall the first teaser video where creepy black and white waves crashing against the clam sandy shore. Indeed! You guessed it right. The fencing has been flattened because of those eerie waves. Howbeit the weather looks quite calm in this picture with adequate sunshine and pink horizon. However, it’s peace after the creepy storm.
